Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Zamora on which is good to see. He's had a cracking season last year and seems a nice lad away from football too.

roversfan99 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Ashley Young and Adam Johnson on the wing, and Dawson at the back too. Interesting.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I can't remember who's still on the pitch
brfcshabba Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Bobby Zamora, the thinking man's Emile Heskey
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 If only we had that linesman in the world cup Goal to Hungary even though the entire ball wasn't over the line.
brfcshabba Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hmm Goal line technology please! Anyway Fielding would have saved that
BuckyRover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Sepp Blatter's punishment for us backing him into a corner regarding goal line technology
philipl Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 As I said, wake me up when Fielding comes on....
Backroom Tom Posted August 11, 2010 Backroom Posted August 11, 2010 No heart or passion that lad No he's an absolute hero, feck the world cup, friendlies against Hungary is the real big one
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I wonder what the odds are on Rooney retiring from International football before the next Euros
BuckyRover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 No he's an absolute hero, feck the world cup, friendlies against Hungary is the real big one That's exactly what I said. Although I find it strange you criticise Gerrard in this way when it's widely accepted that he was one of the only players to come away from the world cup with any credit.
adopted scouser Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Rooney is a tit - STEVIE G - CAPTAIN FANTASTIC
DeadlyDirk Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Fielding gets called up and suddenly England look like winning games, coincidence? I think not. That Steven chap is doing rather well, keep it up fella.
BuckyRover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 It seems like Rooney cannot deal with criticism. He needs to sort himself out.
Backroom Tom Posted August 11, 2010 Backroom Posted August 11, 2010 That's exactly what I said. Although I find it strange you criticise Gerrard in this way when it's widely accepted that he was one of the only players to come away from the world cup with any credit. I admit I may be harsh on that one, he was nowhere near as bad as Rooney and co and his goal Vs USA was great (although pretty much forgotten now). After being criticised since the world cup of course they have to show some effort tonight otherwise they would have been rightfully jumped on in the press.
BuckyRover Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Of course. The world cup performance should not be excused, but used to make us better. That's all I can hope for really
