I would rather face Mexico in the knock out stages than France, so I'm going to be following them closely. They also play some nice football, so should be an enjoyable team to watch.

South Africa to win the group. :) we are on a good run at the moment, so there is certainly a bunch of confident players. Problem is, that we will have some sort of stage fright, and we will crash out.

France and Uruguay for me, I can't believe Lugano is playing for Fener, Suarez and Forlan are going to bang some goals in.

Don't the hosts of the world cup always make it past the group stages?

South africa and Mexico for me with the french finishing bottom, the Irish will be smiling.

South Africa are possibly the worst ever hosts though (sorry Iceman), just because the other hosts have always made it (more often than not theyve been established footballing sides) doesn't mean they will.

I fancy Uruguay to top the group, France to sneak through and S Africa to finish bottom.

If Uruguay play 4-3-3,their side should be i guess.

Muslera - Caceres or Pereira - Godin - Lugano - Fucile - Perez - Gargano - Gonzalez - Suarez - Folan - Cavani(in talks with Inter)

Some real talent there.with both flair and steel.

Japan and Korea were hardly established in 2002.

I just have a feeling we won't see them go out at the first stage, despite how strong the other teams appear on paper.

im very nervous, this is a very tough group. If we dont at least pick up a point today, then we will be screwed. A win, and we will be on our way. Korea were hardly an established side, and i dont think they were in such a tough group. We shall see though, Pienaar to score the winner :tu:

These instruments are going to drive me mad by the end of the tournament. Just wondering why aren't the crowd encouraged to just use them when there is a serious attack building up, good bit of play or an incident? It just seems to be constant at the moment.

Only one side look like scoring at the moment and that is Mexico.

Unbelievable offside call to keep it tied at nil.

You mean the one in the first half? It was an excellent decision.

Mexico should be winning this, but up front they've looked poor.
