Its a rumour, that came from the Spurs supporters club in SA. Its just a rumour, nothing more. It was said that Harry is desperate for a defender, and he doesnt see Keane in his plans. Jenas and Pav are not getting game time either, and he knows we are looking for a striker. Pav is on nearly the same wages as Roberts, so its im just relaying the message.

Fair enough - it's nailed on then. :rolleyes:

Down at our local they've sussed that we've a surplus of centre halves and are still short of a decent striker/some creativity so they think we should swap Zurab plus 6m for Messi.

Going to be Emerton IMO. Will be off to some decent team as a squad man, Spurs/Everton or the like.

nicko, is it a case of said player wants to leave, but the club want him involved in first team action??

if it is said to be olsson or givet, then that is a very tough call because both of them can fill in at 2 or 3 different positions on the park.

Samba is probably our most valuable asset at the moment and his perfomance against Arsenal may have alerted a club or two to take notice. I would be absolutely gutted if he were to go.

Maybe its Jones? Wenger iirc said that he thinks Jones is a talent but it would be too early to consider making a move for him, perhaps that stance has changed?
