Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Right, that's that then. Lets see if we can actually spend some serious dosh on players who will keep us in this division.

Guest Walshy Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 My Auntie runs the Dentist on Ewood and she has said some Brazillian speaking guy has booked in for a full set of perly white veneers next week
modes98 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 which in the normal world of transfers means there is an AC/Gremio deal? That used to be the case but it doesn't happen like that thesedays. Teams often will give permission for a player to talk with only negotiations in progress. With Ronaldinho being out of the first team picture and actively seeking a move it wouldn't be that far fetched either. Breaking news on SSn, they have had contact from AC Milan saying they havent even received a bid from Blackburn yet? That backs up the Mrs D doesn't know what she is saying story. In that she thinks a bid is the same as the offer they have put to the player through his agent. That will go down well with AC Milan if we haven't contacted them about taking the player at all.
Valois Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 That has to be bull or surely they couldn't speak to the player. Milan want rid, and he wants to leave, its been made public, so you would think he is able to agree terms with any club he chooses, before a fee has been agreed with Milan. If Milan didnt want rid it would be a different story, but its in the best interest for everyone for him to sort out personal terms first. Why else would they have allowed him to be in Brazil and leave their training camp in Dubai early? The worrying thing is that Mrs Desai said a bid had been made. I think the confusion is who to? Milan or Ronnie?
Oklahoma Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Wenger wants to loan Carlos Vela. Sure he would be better than what we got up front.
B.R.F.C Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Breaking news on SSn, they have had contact from AC Milan saying they havent even received a bid from Blackburn yet? Georgie Thompson breaking bad news kind of takes the edge of it though doesnt it. What? Havent seen anything of the sort. Only breaking news is about Adebayor and Toures bustup
John Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Blackburn and Newcastle have both expressed an interest in signing Beckham but Tottenham are still understood to be the front-runners. "I see Blackburn are in as well. Maybe they have more to offer him. They can offer him free chicken for life and we can't compete with that," joked Redknapp

BRFCS Content Posted January 4, 2011 Author Posted January 4, 2011 IF the Sky Sports story is right then Rovers are going to get into trouble with regards to transfer regulations. You cannot talk to a player without agreeing a deal with the selling club, now we all know this kind of practice goes on but you definitely do not come out publically admit to it as Mrs Desai has done today. If AC Milan report Rovers we wouldn't have a leg to stand on if this Sky Sports News story is correct.
Roost Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Wenger wants to loan Carlos Vela. Sure he would be better than what we got up front. Good player. Would be happier if he was our loanee instead of RSC
HemelRover Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 "I see Blackburn are in as well. Maybe they have more to offer him. They can offer him free chicken for life and we can't compete with that," joked Redknapp What a complete Bell-end.
booth Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Harry Redknapp taking the wazz out of Rovers, there's some serious unprofessionalism going round at the moment with managers. I hope Mrs D was watching. When I last looked neither Spurs or Sunderland have ever won the pl, and I doubt either ever will..
Valois Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 What? Havent seen anything of the sort. Only breaking news is about Adebayor and Toures bustup Georgie Thompson announced it about 10 minutes ago, its not on the ticker at the bottom of the screen.
steo Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Milan want rid, and he wants to leave, its been made public, so you would think he is able to agree terms with any club he chooses, before a fee has been agreed with Milan. Milan or Ronnie? Cheers for clearing that up,would venky's be willing to pay 7 or 8 mil on top of the 20 mil offered to ronaldinho?how deep are these guys pockets?
den Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Fair enough Den, I see where you're coming from. My counter argument would be that as far as the best players we could sign, Ronaldinho is pretty much at this moment in time the pinnacle we could reach. Admittedly he won't get better, but he's only 30, and having him in the team isn't going to harm our chances in attracting other players in the present or future transfer windows. I think overall it can only be seen as a good thing, playing wise and growth as a club wise. If he comes, performs well, behaves himself - then good thing. If he comes, doesn't like Blackburn, isn't motivated by anything other than money, doesn't like playing in a struggling team, can't stand the weather, kicks up a fuss [and there's a very real chance of these kind of things happening] - then worst of all scenarios - doesn't perform, we have big problems. Venky's will demand that he plays, because they aren't going to pay all that dosh out to see him on the bench - thus we have a situation where the manager can't manage. Or, maybe we have that situation already. Who knows? To me, get on with building a real squad.
Iceman Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 who's he going to pass it to? to himself. Ronaldinho passes the ball, oh wait what a dummy on Terry.
booth Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 "I see Blackburn are in as well. Maybe they have more to offer him. They can offer him free chicken for life and we can't compete with that," joked Redknapp He actually said chicken delight for some reason. What the hell is chicken delight?

If AC Milan report Rovers we wouldn't have a leg to stand on if this Sky Sports News story is correct. You would think the three Brazilian clubs are in for it as well, as they have also made it public. I'm pretty sure they have allowed Ronnie to discuss terms with any club he wishes, however Milan have stated their asking price, so its no good agree terms if you cant pay their fee for the player.
Bobby G Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Didnt AC Milan let Ronaldinho talk to other clubs? If so, I dont think they will report us. Its in their interest to get the best deal at any rate. But this is a bit embarrassing.
nicko Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 was Rovers one of them? The details of the background will be in the paper tomorrow, so I can't answer that just now.
XLM Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 "I see Blackburn are in as well. Maybe they have more to offer him. They can offer him free chicken for life and we can't compete with that," joked Redknapp What a saggy-faced tit.

Bloody double gazing sales men, I said you buy one ................
Bobby G Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Since we are a shambles at the top, his comment wont even be reacted to at our club. Disgusting that after what Bruce said the other day, we have this today. I dont think you wouldve seen a club manager saying maybe West Ham can offer him free porn for life, would you? Cause Gold and Sullivan would be up at them in a second and possibly report whoever said it.

Depends, although the fact that AC Milan's Gillani is in Brazil would suggest that they have gone through the proper channels and have permission to talk to Ronaldinho.
