Kean has had some good results since becoming manager but he has to be very careful that he doesn't let the rot set in. He may be the Indians' man currently but they'll give him the push quicker than you can say 'chicken korma' if this sort of nonsense persists.

radio rovers still trolling out the bad pitch stuff, this is lancashire in Feb and Wigan are on the same pitch arent they?

terrible shot by diouf, no even on target, barn door shooting practise needed.

The pitch is the worst ive ever seen in this league since the mid 1990's. There is only grass on the wings. Shocking from Wigan. The league do need to look into it.

Thats not enough though. Defensively pathetic.

Those who criticised Sam for playing such functional football arent shouting so loudly now. Today was exactly the sort of game where by passing the midfield was needed. Im still yet to be convinced that this side can play pretty football.

The pitch really is unacceptable for a Premier League match, there can be no doubt about that. Can't be used as too much of an excuse, but games at this level should not have to be played on a pitch like this.

Our strikers aren't good enough, end of.

Should have been addressed in the transfer window instead of relying on either a crock, a 19 year old or our current poor strike force to come good.

Midfield is poor as well, most of the current ones aren't good enough and it could take weeks maybe even months for the likes of Formica and Jones to get used to this league.

We regularly churn out shocking results against the league's lesser lights but the manner of this is sickening. Is it beyond the bounds of reality to get at least a glimpse of all our new players in the next game?

4-3 now. Escaping with a point (maybe) should not cover up the fact that we've conceded four goals against one of the most timid sides in the division. Poor stuff.
