joey_big_nose Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 No Hoilett makes it very very difficult for us. Why include Emerton? We should have given Rochina a punt as we need someone who can create. Bad feeling about this.
Kamy100 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Safe side from Kean, but does give him opportunity to bring on players like Rochina during second half, hopefully Bolton will tire during the second half.

adopted scouser Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 If we can't beat am under strength Bolton, playing their third game of the week then we deserve what we get. Absolutely, the league doesn't lie. Fingers crossed for an unlikely miracle, at least Burnleh are losing.
Amo Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I'd have picked Diouf, just as an outlet of pace in Hoilett's absence. And Kalinic for Roberts, who's the better sub option. Not many complaints other than that.
OsloRover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Where are the goals going to come from in that side? - very little creativity in midfield (Olsson the only bright spot, but his last few games haven't been good) - no set piece taker to take advantage of the aerial dominance of Samba et al - the wingers may produce crosses if we are lucky but we have no strikers who can head a ball - no pace on the counter attack I feel that our best hope is Benjani creating something from nothing, which frightens me to be honest.
Stuart Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Walked down Livesey feeling sick with nerves. Arrived in the ground to see Kean's mug on the big screen - doesn't look like a man sleeping well btw. Then to learn no Hoilett and Emerton starting... Feeling even worse now.
budha Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 If Wheater plays at right back again, Olsson should be providing enough chances for even Benjani and Roberts to score. If not, then we deserve what's coming should we lose.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Our key player is surely Olsson today. He's up against Wheater, who you would think would struggle against the pace of Olsson.
doctorryan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Why the f%#k is Emo in that goddamn lineup again!!! ( I hope he scores. )
OsloRover Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Looks like a packed Ewood, hope the athmosphere can give the team a boost!
Backroom DE. Posted April 30, 2011 Backroom Posted April 30, 2011 If we can't beat that Bolton team, massively understrength and with a shocking away record, we deserve to go down. Come on Rovers!
mode_m Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 the television feed doesn't work now? why am i being forced to watch Aston Villa all of a sudden....
andyroversmad Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Emerton offers nothing to the team he's set pieces are awful.
bigbrandjohn Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Nice Steve receives a hug from Owen Coyle and a handshake from the Bolton players. He is very nice. Very very nice. That aint enough. Olsson, every shot counts today, no warm ups just accurate net busters
chris Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 decent staff, looks like this game could go either way
mattyc2422 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Would feel much happier if Junior was fit. Reckon N'Zonzi is the man today. Villa up bs WBA.
