  1. 1. Are you happy with the new sponsors

    • Delighted!
    • I'd have prefered a commercial sponsor, but this is a great alternative
    • Simply don't care
    • Waste a valuable income
    • No objection to charity, do object to the Princes Trust
    • Other (Please Explain)

It will be a patch like the crown paints one was as they need to iron them onto the shirts !

Oh please no, the crown patch is absolutely horrible wearing it in sunny weather! No breathing at all

You can still "iron" it on without it being a box though. LIke the Photoshop job above. Looks good, but I hope the logo will be a tad smaller.

Oh dear. If we get that pink box on our shirt, its going to look terrible!

In that case, what a waste of a potentially great-looking shirt!

Here's the away kit by the way:

I think it looks good, without a box that is... i don't see why it can't be screen printed rather than ironed on?

I can understand the difficulties finding a sponsor if we reject betting companies.

Half the league are sponsored by betting companies; Bolton, Swansea, Sunderland, Villa, West Brom, Wigan and Wolves.

Also QPR have not yet found a sponsor.

I can't see why a betting company would be rejected? I'm assuming there will still be plenty of betting counters in the ground this year and we surely won't be turning down ads from these companies running round the pitch, on the website etc. Whats the difference?

Hinduism:

Hinduism does not approve gambling as a lawful activity. But Hindu scriptures suggest that there had been gambling activities carried out in Hindu culture. Mahabharata is a famous epic in Hinduism. In this epic there have been instances of gambling activities. It is stated in this epic that gambling in the form of dice games has been a source of entertainment for Kings. There are also other Hindu scriptures which indicate that gambling activities were carried out in Hindu empires. But on the whole it could be observed that gambling for fun is not immoral activity as per Hindu religious norms. But addiction for gambling is considered as a sin.

Ok abit of news about the shirt & sponsor. I’ve heard it will go on sale on Saturday, and fans should be happy when they do.

A press release will be made very soon about who the name on the shirt will be.

Finally the head of Marketing & Commercial is currently on his way home from Pune – who said Venkys don’t include their own staff?

Could it be that the new sponsor will be an alcohol company and Prince's Trust will appear on the junior sized shirts and the U18's shirts?

Exciting if true.

The fact that Simon Williams has been out in Pune suggests to me we've sealed a big Indian brand.

My money's on Cobra.
