Kamy100 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Kamy you added a "not" in the other thread, and its missing on this one "not certain". Which is the real slim shady? Big question is if Rovers lose and the crowd turn against Kean on Saturday will he survive? After what I have been told this evening I am not as certain as I was this morning that he would survive. Sorry, what I meant is that this morning I was certain that Kean would survive regardless of the result on Saturday, but after what I have been told this evening, I am not as certain as I was this morning about him surviving regardless of the result on Saturday. It's been a long and frustrating day. I long for the day when we can get back to concentrating on the on the pitch stuff rather than off the field issues.

Very interesting. I think if we lose on Saturday I think he will be gone.
Taggart Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 interesting Kamy, does that mean the mood is shifting, and I guess it needs to shift with Mrs D more than anyone...........................if we do manage to win on Saturday, then Kean uses another of his nine lives; wonder how many more that pussy has left to take................
roverandout Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 YES!!! get in there, this our chance on saturday to really drive it home, let every man, woman and child let their voices be heard, for england and st....ooops getting carried away there.
Ripleys love child Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Remember that middlesboro fan who ran onto the pitch and chucked his season ticket at mclaren ? Did he get banned? Well it certainly caught the medias attention . Dunno if I'd have the balls to do it but would defo catch venkys attention

Seggie Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 As I posted in the JJ thread, the big question is if Rovers lose on Saturday and the crowd turn on Kean will he survive. After what I have been told this evening I am as certain as I was this morning that he would survive. I respect your ino more than any other person's regarding inside info. Thats just made me want to go play in traffic in Pune
beerwins Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 If he has'nt got a no 2 in before sat and we lose again he may well be gone himself this is how I am reading the situation. Although questions still linger as in why JJ was sacked now? Did Kean fall out with him and sack him without the owners consent? Could he do that? If the owners sacked him why do it now if they intend on getting rid of Kean too? Sometimes it feels like the brothers run the show and as soon as they go away for a few day's Mr's D has a play with her FM reality gameshow and we see a complete shift in thought. Kean must be removed and a good manager needs to be appointed and that should just be the start of the turnaround, we need stability and we need it fast.

Sparky Marky Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Sorry, what I meant is that this morning I was certain that Kean would survive regardless of the result on Saturday, but after what I have been told this evening, I am not as certain as I was this morning abmout him surviving regardless of the result on Saturday. beerwins Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 EXCLUSIVE: O'Neill linked with Blackburn job http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Martin-O-Neill-is-linked-with-Blackburn-as-an-experienced-assistant-to-Steve-Kean-article806190.html So that is linking O'Neill as the no 2 or ? Just sack him ffs the only help he needs is his payoff, O Neill would be fine on his own especially with the squad we have, he plays counter attacking football with pacey players which we have. Why is Kean unsackable? what do the owners think they owe him? he has had his chance and blown it, it's not complicated or is it?
JAL Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 EXCLUSIVE: O'Neill linked with Blackburn job http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Martin-O-Neill-is-linked-with-Blackburn-as-an-experienced-assistant-to-Steve-Kean-article806190.html At least we as fans and most probably the players would have a lot more confidence in Martin O'Neil than Stevie blunder. How on earth can Kean be a coach who is classed as coaching coaches after the rubbish hes served up for the past nine months at Ewood Park - No wonder British football is knackered.
Amo Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Billy McKinlay as Steve Kean's number two.... or Martin O'Neil as manager? Duh?
Backroom DE. Posted September 29, 2011 Backroom Posted September 29, 2011 EXCLUSIVE: O'Neill linked with Blackburn job http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Martin-O-Neill-is-linked-with-Blackburn-as-an-experienced-assistant-to-Steve-Kean-article806190.html What a ridiculous article. As if O'Neill would come in to play no2 to Steve Kean. There's more chance of me getting the assistant's job than O'Neill even considering it.
Mercer Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Kean's odds are shortening. Now down to 11/10 with Ladbrokes. Get your money on now. I reckon books will be closed by Saturday after tomorrow's presser.

I would prefer O'Neill with his own number 2 and keep Bunskill and Mimms on the coaching staff. I'm not a big fan of O'Neill but he would do a good job here.
martonrover Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 O'Neill would be great but he has to be approached to be manager. Can't see him being interested in any other role
chaddyrovers Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 latest odds for kean possible replacement http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/blackburn-specials/next-permanent-manager O'Neill is 10/1
riverside returns Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 As stated in DoF thread, some influential people have had an audience in Pune this week and there are changes afoot. Not sure what yet but there are some people whose input is being terminated.
Fowl Play Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Its Stevie boy's birthday tomorrow - apparently he turns 44. So its... FORTY FOUR & EXIT DOOR!!! (please god)
FourLaneBlue Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Andy - you can see where Kean gets it from - Coleman is just all talk. If Coleman landed, Kean no doubt would be coach. A very big, no thank you. waggy meant John Coleman, not Chris Coleman. Oh, and either would be infinitely preferable to what we have.
Hughesy Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 According to the odds checker, Hughes favourite, closely followed by Rafa.......Either id be delighted with after Kean - but would prefer Rafa.
