Kean said: “The contract has not really changed anything at all. It was spoken about at the end of last season. I was always uncomfortable about speaking about it when we were in the position in the league but it has got out so we had to comment on it.

They'll be disguising him like Kojak next, complete with shades and lollypop, to mask the poor interview techniques! If I could work out how to post a picture of Kojak, I would, but I can't, so I wont! :xmas:

Who loves ya, baby?

Not us, Kean.

Interesting. "It was spoken about"------classic evasion. Who talked about it------you Mr Kean?

Again--he was uncomfortable speaking about it when we were bottom or near bottom but not uncomfortable about taking the money!

And the only reason he ever mentioned it is because it got out any way!

And earlier this week he was still trying to claim no such contract had yet been signed because he had to concentrate on getting the club out of danger and it was inappropriate timing! Which was a whopping lie, comparable to his lies in court.

WEASEL!

People quite blatantly do not send him any positive mail, he is just spouting the same bull as he does week in week out. It's embarrassing. It would be laughable if Mrs D wasn't eating it up. I've got visions of Kean doing a Jay from Inbetweeners and posting loads of love mail to himself.

Either that or he's taking daily walks around Burnley and they're showing their appreciation.

The guy is totally shameless. Sitting there lying through his teeth. He knows that we know that no is sending him mail and telling him how well he's doing in the street. I bet that if Steve Kean walked through the middle of Blackburn he'd get done.

Again I'm flabbergasted by the naivety of the media. Kean said last week that he was putting all contract talks on hold, because he didn't think it was right to be in talks while the team were in such trouble. And then it turns out that it was signed, sealed and delivered while he was saying this. Why does no one pull him up on this!!!?

That's far too..... erm.... 'Positive' :!:

Aye, yer probably reet. Just trying to make the protests humourous. Fans will unite with humour and irony (IMO), anger, foul language etc. always loses the 'viewer' as they don't like to see those images. The inteded targets will be unhappy, but the press, other fans etc. will also be offended.

"Roverwithasquint" - brilliant and Kean fell for it!

he didn't fall for it, that it reality to Kean ,that insentive to keep going, to prove his new supporter was right to back him

BBC Radio 5 live

Aidy Boothroyd on BBC Radio 5 live on Steve Kean: "He's done a terrific job in how he's dealt with the recent furore and it's taken the pressure off his players. After last week and that corner incident, I think things could be changing for Blackburn."

They're queueing up to defend him, it's intolerable!

The media have never given us any kind of defending like this earlier have they? Now all of the sudden when we are heading for certain relegation with a bloody coach in charge in the middle of a Indian nightmare, THATS when they start to praise us. Baffeling! They probably know that the more they support him, the more certain it is for Kean to stay in his job - the owners hears that the english media supports Kean and saying that he is doing a good job and that he has been unlucky. They are not helping us!!

Henry Winter on twitter....."Said it before & I'll say it again...#brfc fans deserve a better manager than Steve Kean. Losing 3-0 at Stoke. Shambles"

@Stevo_football The new deal was a misdirection. It's Indian tradition to give something to guests before they leave. Same thing with Kean.

Just heard his post game interview, seemed shaken. First time I've seen him look flustered, his normal BS didn't hide it this time. I think his anus has just twitched big time. Lose Tuesday and his managerial career has to be over.

the sad thing is, if they sack kean they can get a top class manager at the drop of a hat..

But they could sign kean for ten years for the price it would cost them for a real manager for 8 months...

KEAN OUT NOW!!!

@philmcnulty @kevingallacher8 I want to bang my head against the wall. "Play like this", "we took game to Stoke". Really? He's a sick man.

Kean is only the face of the problem. The cancer runs deeper. It has long greasy hair, has just discovered a little money. Its Balaji.

Remarkable, isn't it? When were 'punching above our weight' with Hughes & Allardyce, we were lucky to get praise through gritted teeth. And that was usually the same old 'you know what to expect with Blackburn, in your face etc.' We never actually won the credit we deserved for being a competitive outfit that leapfrogged sides with higher incomes and more expensive personnel.

Now we're in the absolute gutter with an abortion for a manager, they're queuing up to defend him. At the risk of sounding paranoid, you'd think the media WANT us to get relegated.
