folkdevil Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 The draw has been made and providing we both come through we will meet at Ewood in the Semi.I was hoping for a 2 legged final myself but that was being a little greedy. Lancashire Constabularly will love the fact that its a 7pm Ko on Saturday night! www.thefa.com/Competitions/FACompetitions/TheFAYouthCup/Fixtures.aspx

AndyNeil Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 have a look at that page again, and I think you'll see that it is a two-legged semi final
folkdevil Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 have a look at that page again, and I think you'll see that it is a two-legged semi final Well spotted Fernhurst. That's a Saturday night in Burnley then too!
OhmiBRFC Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I really, really, really hope the Youth Team are victorious then! It was fine with the reserve game played on an evening.
Rishton blue Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 The only time I've ever hoped for a Burnley win!
hollowsr Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 The games won't be played on Saturday nights, they just put the date down for when they should be played by
JAL Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 If the young lads can go to Newcastle and get a fantastic result. Could we get everyone down to Ewood to support the young lads and try and get a bigger attendance for the youths than what we currently see the first team get regardless of wether its Fulham or Burnley.
Ben-2000 Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Don't be suprised if it's played one afternoon during the week like the away reserve game was a couple of years ago.
waggy Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 i know were in the middle of a slump but why did know one let me know we are in the semi,s a bloody geordie told me
trs Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Latest score: Fulfam 1 Dingles 0 (7mins)... Come on Burnley!!
trs Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Burnley 3-1 up.....Order the coaches....bring out the military!
roversfan83 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Bring on the dingles!!!! Its going to be great to support a Rovers team where I’m not torn between wanting a victory and taking comfort from defeat in the vain hope it may spell the end for toenails. 100% behind teaching those 6 fingered sister romancing freaks a lesson in football. Also the joy to once again watch Rovers and not catch that fat bald buffoon in the corner of my eye stood with his trademark vacant look and grinning like a moron in the technical area.
SergioPeter89 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Anyone seen this movie? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj_o534JI9g Imagine something like that, but with a lot more people. Would be great!
Stuart Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Inspiring stuff Sergio. Also raises the bar for our podcasters too!
Baz Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Anyone seen this movie? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj_o534JI9g Imagine something like that, but with a lot more people. Would be great! Very good vid, but only 250 of them! I thought they were a big club? I can see more Rovers fans than that going to T'Dingles.
old darwen blue Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Two home legs??? http://www.thefa.com/Competitions/FACompetitions/TheFAYouthCup/Fixtures.aspx
Stuart Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Surely the police will change the times? 7pm Saturday night!
arbitro Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I'm pretty sure that the police will have some influence over the security arrangements for both games. Perhaps not the extremes we have seen for the recent first team games but I think there will be some plans in place before each game.
SAS Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Surely the police will change the times? 7pm Saturday night! I'd imagine they do same as they do when the reserves meet. Midweek noon kick off.... Lots of the players tweeting last night asking rovers fans to cone out in force..
gumboots Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I'd imagine they do same as they do when the reserves meet. Midweek noon kick off.... So they think we are all out of work and can turn up when they please to watch? I usually go to Ewood to watch Youth cup games but in my job don't even get a lunch break most days let alone being able to go to a match mid day and there must be loads like me.

You may get lucky and it'll be in one of the 20 weeks holiday you get a year, lol.
