Too little, too late.

Agree, however, if it's any consolation, it seems that the whole sordid truth will very, very soon emerge. Hopefully, this will signal the end for Venky's & Kean and our club can start the long haul back.

The media don't like getting their prediction wrongs, the only reason Hodgeson has got the flak he has is because the media are upset that they'd been reporting it was Harry's job and were shown up to be wrong in the end.

The media have also been talking up Kean by making out all his problems were being caused by the fans and not his inability to manage the team. Now we've been relegated and absolutely shocking in our last few games a few journalists will inevitability now start giving up on the lie and printing the truth, whilst implying they'd thought that all along. A few others though will cling to the Kean-victim angle and will no doubt continue to blame our relegation on a lack of support from the fans.

Sit Down and Shut Up

Quote " The supporters of Blackburn Rovers, however, were around long before Venkys, Steve Kean or Jerome Anderson pitched up at Ewood Park and they will be there long after they have packed up their bags and left this corner of Lancashire for good"

Quote "It has been a singular failure to get to grips with the peculiarities of the stewardship of a football club that has proved to be the undoing of Blackburn Rovers this season, a relegation that was, for the supporters of the club, as inevitable as it was depressing."

Superb piece.

Looks like its all starting to come out on twitter

The canaries are all starting to sing now.

Ewood will be in meltdown within 48 hours.

IMO, everyone connected with Rovers, besides the obvious 'villains', have had enough.

In a way, sorry to start another thread, however, there are are bloody good articles starting to emerge and thought it might be good to capture them all in one place:

http://www.lifesapitch.co.uk/opinions/blackburn-fans-were-right-about-venkys-and-kean-all-along/

Brilliant piece. Too bad the main stream media didn't voice these same facts a couple of months ago when it could have made a difference.

Anychance of some quotes/links?

Whats actually being said?

I second this! It's times like this that I wish I used twitter. I have an account but don't understand it!

Henning Berg says today in norwegian paper he fears rovers will get relegated to league 1 next year, and he thinks it may take many many years for rovers to come back to the top division. He critizises venkys for making to many changes, giving steve kean too much control, the sales of phil jones and chris samba, the replacements they have brought in, the sacking of big sam and giving steve kean the job, The sacking of John williams who he said has done an amazing job at rovers.

Yesterday he also criticised walkers trust at halftime saying "when owners want to sell a club they are focused to get as much as they can for the club, walkers trust should also have been more focused on finding the right owners. They did not do this. I hope Jack walkers family will come forward and buy the club back from venkys, and run the club on the same principle as jack walker did when he was still alive, that would be the best for rovers."

"steve kean was probably the only person who actually believed this season would have a happy ending for rovers"

when asked if he would take the manager job if he was offered it he said "it would be fun to take over a Pl club, even a nationwide club, but if you take over a club you are dependent of proper owners, there is no proper manager with any cred who will take over a club with owners like that in charge, you will shoot yourself in the foot."

Hmm, looks like they've taken a post from this website, re-written it slightly and attributed to some guy called Gordon...

What does it matter? This kind of media coverage is what we need!

We need the media to turn on Kean, perhaps it is beginning to happen!

Soccernet's match verdict; Clueless Rovers.

That is a good article. No customary tip of the cap to the 'Kean abuse' nonsense.

Good Phil McNulty piece on the BBC--http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/philmcnulty/2012/05/blackburn_face_uncertain_futur.html

It appears that all journalists are obliged to continue peddling this nonsense:

'Blackburn's fans have been heavily criticised for their treatment of Kean. Indeed, the personal abuse aimed at the manager during the 2-1 home defeat by Bolton in December was among the worst I have heard.'

Must have conveniently forgot West Ham fans calling Roeder "tumor boy".

I have said for a long while that the selling off of all the land as one of the main reasons that they bought us for in the first place.

Disaster does not begin to describe the shambles that is about to occur.
