Very poor half.

Murthy and pedersen have been shocking, far too much space in the middle and just inviting pressure. Need to find an outlet, Rhodes and kazim might as well get out the deck chairs. Positives, Henley and Erm.......

Not out of this though, palace are poor. Come on rovers

Do you think Simon Garner needs a scapegoat or a hate figure and he has to pick on someone as certain posters accuse people who critiscise Rovers players of doing - or do you think as a neutral he can see that MGP and CKR are poor ??

get ckr off and bring on rochina,it will scare the site out off them

jesus our midfield is

PEDS............MURPHY............DICKSON..............MARCUS

This the root of the problem , the middle 2 are too slow , Pedersen is passed his best and Olsson is quick but not good enough.

Put into the mix Richards ,who should be helping out (bet he'e not) ...

But it is only half time , so there is hope !

Palace haven't lost a game in 12.

Having said that this is exactly what was always going to happen.

Now this is where Berg needs to start shaping the team to his own.

It will take time though. Time and patience.

well said , there will be no quick fix ,with these players ...

Playing a four man midfield with two places being occupied by those two does seem a bit defensively weak, doesn't it? I'm only following this via Rovers twitter so I don't actually know how things are looking, but a four man midfield generally needs more dynamism than what can be offered by Murphy and Pedersen.

Pedersen would only be a good option if there was a rule that allowed you to bring on a player for a set piece and then take them off after it. The guy's all round game is dreadful, more often than not it's like playing with 10 men.

I think the first 45 mins will be a real eye opener to Berg about how tough a job it's going to be. This midfield is not going to dominate many sides in this league and that's worrying.
