Didn't mercer initially state Rhodes was going to Hull?? I'm sure I'd read that one. So now it's moved on to Bolton and then Wigan.

He reminds me of Alan Nixon :rock: 1 story correct in 30, who incidentally has Rhodes going to Wigan in this mornings people.

Now we all know Nixon hangs of Coyles coattails, so I’d imagine that story has some truth to it.

I think you already did telling him to crawl back into that hole he came from and asking what his cut of any future Rhodes sale would be. If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

Not taking sides, all of you put him on ignore if need be, but everyone jumping on his posts is a bit boring now.

TND Mercer was right with Coyle to Wigan and Rhodes to rovers but this time way wide of the mark as even if Whelan stumps up the fee which I doubt he defo won't pay what JR is on a week now ... Whelan as already got rid of Wigans earners and even grant holt is on a reported 11k a week Whelan wouldn't pay more than 20k per week in the perm he certainly won't in the championship ask any wiganners

I've two bets in play including, as I said weeks ago, effectively a 'joker in the pack'. Do I think Rhodes is offski, yes and 95% certain, do I think to one of the clubs my money is on, maybe and 75% chance.

Taken some stick over the last 24 hours and it's very disappointing when fellow Rovers' fans have to get so personal and some are then surprised should I retaliate in kind. If you don't like my views and opinions then simply put me on ignore.

Not prepared to tell you as some sensitivities.

If Rhodes goes, I will tell you where I put my money (whether I win or lose) and why - it will then make sense.

what kind of a fan puts bets on their clubs best player & fans favourite leaving, then takes pleasure and brags about it as if he'd be more happy to win a few ££ on a bet than keep the player, surely there's a million other things you could bet on(football and non-football related)

I do have him on ignore but his moronic bs does get quoted a lot making it hard to avoid get caught up in it.

Mercerman, if you are so horrendously offended by the reaction from "fellow" rovers fans, don't troll them with "opinions" you are not prepared to fully divulge the reason for.

If I came to the board and said the same things in the same way, I would be berated in the same way. I'm starting to think that you are actually Nixon, trying to rekindle some sort of respect on this message board by adding "validity" when concurring with his ridiculous news reports.

Jordan Rhodes, a fan favourite - the last thing and only thing the owners did for us on the playing front which worked out. After all the other mistakes, what makes you think that the owners will sell their prized asset on the cheap to a championship team?

You say FFP, but whenever anyone brings it up on side of the argument of other championship teams not being able to break the rules either, you state the "cunning" uncle eddie or dave will find a way round it. Money talks, and only certain teams will be able to pay for the luxury - those mainly of the premier league. He may go, if not this week then at least in the next year - but you can 100% guarantee that this will be to a team who pays 10m+ and/or player swaps + a massive wage rise. In law, they use precedent to form judgement- My view is based on the precedent Venkys have set when teams wanted our stars. (Samba and Jones)

In any walk of life, if you have an opinion or view which you feel the need to air - expect to be questioned. When the answers don't fit the questions expect to belittled and thought of as WUM.

Latics fans all a tizz over this today. Reckon we've defaulted on payment and have to shift Rhodes to cover the payments. Apparently 'Coyley' has told some fans of the record it's a done deal :tu:.
