This would already be the third (?) highest run chase at this ground.

I don’t think we have enough, but 100 short seems a bit ott.

273 all out

Hope I'm wrong but the other lot will fancy getting that. And they've plenty of time to do it

I hope you’re wrong too 😀

As with any innings, the first hour could prove pivotal.

I think they’ll see those off. Still a decent wicket, plenty of time, Ali’s finger, some quality batsmen. Oh for those extra first innings runs

I think the missed stumping and no ball were more costly - of course it’s something we can never know.

Even if England win it was still a daft decision

The weather is turning. This could genuinely be the last session of the match

I think we find ourselves 30 runs short, and we may rue Root's moment of madness

An early wicket to Warner and we are on our way. Huge session of cricket coming up here

Matt Parkinson leaving Lancs and joining Kent at end of year.

I read that earlier - mad that.

He seems to have been supplanted by Hartley as the County's #1 spinner. I wonder if there's been a falling out?

He couldn’t have moved further away had he tried, I wonder if a woman scorned is involved.

I didn’t agree with reckless, I do agree with daft.

A very fine distinction! So fine I can't see it. Daft because it was reckless!

Something can be daft without being reckless - but we’re in danger of going around in circles so shall we agree to disagree?

Can't see us starting on time today, its raining heavily at the moment, but when we do, in overcast conditions, we should be swinging this duke ball round corners.

Tighten up in the field, we gave to many fours away yesterday, get Khawaja early and we win the first test, weather permitting.

Come on England.
