If anyone's interested in local cricket, and the cross over into international cricket, Chorley CC have signed South African international batter Keegan Petersen..he makes his debut at Chorley tomorrow. Follows the success of last years SA pro Marques Ackerman.

Chilton head hunted him from Gloucestershire where in his two seasons there, relegated them to the second division then finished bottom of that division the next season.

Jennings steps down from captaincy. Lancs sadly fully deserve to be where we are at the moment. The Northants game was embarrassing.

James Anderson is back for tomorrow game.

England vs Zimbabwe starts today at Trent Bridge in cloudy conditions, with the visitors winning the toss and bowling first.

This is the first meeting between the 2 sides since 2003 where I think Anderson made his Test debut.

Keep an eye out for Blessing Muzarabani!

We need to replace Chilton and Benkenstein in their role. 

I would like to David Lloyd advising the club. 

I would like to see Flintoff and Hogg in the head coach and assistant coach role. Maybe even Chris Read as head coach switching to Men's team from the Women's team. Paul Farbrace would be other option. 

as director of cricket role, I don't know. Someone like Matt Maynard maybe

It certainly needs wholesale change Chaddy. The coach has been nothing short of a disaster but I fear the problems run much deeper than that.

The problems run deeper though. This is a poor squad. As David Loyd said a bowling squad needs real pace and quality leg spin. Hartley apart it’s full of medium pacers. 
On the batting front Lancs have been scoring at just over two runs per over. That’s no good, that’s just standing there and letting sides bowl at you. There are also rumours of club debt running too high not helped by being banned from staging concerts at the ground.

I also dont think we have enough involvement from real cricket men in the boardroom. Chilton comes across as weak. It’s primarily short on cricketing knowledge.

Marcus Harris has extended his contract until 2027.

 Would have probably hit 1,000 runs if he didn’t have the captaincy dragging him down.
