Apparently he is 6ft 7, and turned 16 in January

DOB 15-01-2009

Highlight was playing Vs Tooting & Mitcham in London SNR Cup.
Best game was at Home to Luton & away to Gillingham u17s.
Changed and adapted how HE plays over this time, so very coachable.
Strength Height Pace great attributes for
any Defense.
100% resilient and determined.
His parents are pretty good as well

Interesting if he has pace because guys that tall usually don't.

Taller guys normally have a high top speed, because of their leg stride, its acceleration and agility/turning circle where big guys usually struggle

The problem is in football it's speed over the first 3 to 8 yards that is usually decisive.

Especially in defence, with attackers trying to twist you this way and that. Your balance and ability to shift direction quickly if you've been sent the wrong way are key. Hard to do that at such a gargantuan height. Still, if he somehow has a bit of that going on too then might be a promising one to watch. Otherwise he'll just be an exposable lummox.

Not a clue, the block of text was copied and pasted from the linkedin page the I linked, which was written by his parents apparently, so just a bit of self back slapping on their part I would think

Edit - It would appear his dad is called Tony Henderson.  That is as much as I am looking into his lineage.  I do not intend on getting a massage from the man (he is a sports therapist) to find out more 😉

Fair, had me wondering if he was Jordan Henderson's kid or something

A few more of our released youngsters have now found new homes

Pat Gamble signed for Warrington Town (7th tier)

and then a few weeks ,late for Marine (6th tier)

Dan Shaw signed for Rugby Town (7th tier)

Bradley Taylor (who I think spent the majority of the past 3 seasons injured) is now at Ashton Utd (7th tier)

Not sure if this is the same Stephen Edmondson, but there is one in Marines U23s squad

Tom Bloxham may be moving to Switzerland, the 25% sell on sounds like rubbish though, As far as I am aware, Rovers released him and this was Rovers decision to do so, although I suppose they could possibly have offered him a contract on about the same as he was already on, which he turned down, which may entitle them to some compensation, cant imagine it will be anywhere near 25% of future sales though, he was only with us for 2 years

Lewis Bell also got his first goal for Marine recently

I used to watch my rugby league team doing sprint training. It was interested to see who won the races. The guys that were nowhere over 20 yards would sometimes be the winners over 80 yards.

And the slow ones were nowhere at all.
