Gav Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 I don’t think the locals were very happy 🤣 Its the same at Ibrox make no mistake, but still this made me laugh: 2 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 I think Celtic have made a huge mistake not allowing Martin O'Neill to continue as head coach until of the season at least. He has vast experience, understand the club and has take them back in form and title challenges which they weren't before he went in. I would have given O'Neill the job for the next 18 months, and review then. Quote

Backroom DE. Posted December 8, 2025 Backroom Posted December 8, 2025 Did O'Neill want the the job in a long term capacity? I only remember him saying he'd keep the ship steady until a new manager was identified. He's 74 in March and hasn't managed full time in 6 years - presumably by his own choice. Very early days for Nancy - you can't judge after one game. I do think it would have made sense to hold off on the appointment until after the Hearts match, mind, but it may have sent out the wrong message to do so. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 14, 2025 Backroom Posted December 14, 2025 Lol, Celtic board probably already begging O'Neill to come back. 3 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 celtic humbled by the mighty st mirren😁 having watched the game st mirren were by far better organised and commited and deserved to win, celtic players looked bereft of ideas,i think the celtic board have appointed a duffer😄 Quote
GHR Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Dicked by the title competitors, gubbed in Europe, lose a cup final. Proper start. Delighted for St Mirren. Finally a positive to living in Paisley. 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 if it carries on like this at parkhead then we`ll see what a proper protest looks like😆 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Oh well they get what they deserve Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Whenever those scumbag clubs from Glasgow get knocked off their perch domestically it's great. 2 Quote
oldjamfan1 Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 I don’t think I can remember a time when both old firm teams were so poor. Remarkably it’s over 40 years since anyone other than Celtic or Rangers won the title so I would say it’s overdue! 4 Quote
onlyonejackwalker Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 Pleasing result for St Mirren. Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted December 15, 2025 Posted December 15, 2025 Pleased to St. Mirren in yesterday. Always refreshing to see a different side lift a trophy in Scotland that isn't Celtic or Rangers. Celtic certainly appear to have shot themselves in the foot in the short term with the appointment of Nancy. They had caught Hearts and I have no doubt they'd not have lost that game with O'Neill in charge. He seemed to have revitalised them in recent weeks only for a new guy to come in and set them back again. Hearts have a huge opportunity in the league now. Quote

Nancy has come in with a similar approach to Amorim that this is my system(3-4-3) with no plan B. Celtic fans won't put up with this much longer I bet. O'Neil back there for next season, wonder what then odds are on that Quote
GHR Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 Stig Inge Bjornebye has temporarily joined the upstairs staff at Rangers. Not heard that name in a while! Quote

Backroom DE. Posted December 17, 2025 Backroom Posted December 17, 2025 I saw Celtic's chairman resigned today after receiving significant threats. You wonder how a fanbase like that would react to being owned by a distant, immovable object like Venky's. Quote
chaddyrovers Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Nacy's nightmare just continues. What was they thinking when they appoint him? Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 No idea how reliable a source this is, but that is quite frankly hilarious. What a shambolic appointment. Quote
