And as mentioned, you often find the top teams putting their foot on the gas towards the end, consistently racking up wins. 

and when we beat Sheffield United in March we had that down to 9 points. I think if we had the quality striker and might have caught them. You disagree fine, not bothered that you disagree either.

So had we won every game after that, we would have still needed a considerable goal difference swing. 

Of course that assumes that Sheff United wouldnt have lost more points due to us winning every week, but Boro were basically doing that and they still didnt crumble.

Either way, miles off.

We should follow the Sheff Utd model, sign millions of pounds worth of players and don’t pay for them, or refuse to stick to the payment terms, easy really.
