I like this.

But I hadn't seen it before it was posted here (thank you).

Where has this statement, and perhaps others like it that I might have also not seen, landed/featured in the media? What impact has been made?

I'm asking with genuine curiosity and wishing for something to be picked up and resonate beyond Rovers fans' groups, but not really seeing it - yet.

I hadn't seen it either.

I posted it on F/B "The Rovers"...From the response, it is obvious it was new to many on there too...

We're really trying our hardest with the coalition and as the poster JB mentioned. As supporters, we need to be counted and stand up. This has gone on far enough. Why as a fan base are we allowing this to happen. 1 win and everything gets forgotten. It’s tinpot!!!

I don’t think the fanbase are though completely. You only have to look at attendances since they took over. Like myself, many new refuse to go to Ewood.

Something like an #EmptyEwood campaign doesn’t have to be offensive.
It just needs to say that we- as supporters- refuse to return to Ewood until Venky’s sell the club.

If you take attendances into consideration, over their ownership period, we’re about 2/5 or 3/5 of the way there already.

On another note, how many home games did it take Sheff Weds to shift their owner doing that?

If ever there was a fixture people might be willing to boycott surely it would be the replayed fixture versus Sheffield Wednesday.

It's going to be far enough in the future for people to spread the word about it and it holds significance as a fixture caused by the incompetence of the owners.

The club is in a managed decline. Pasha's remit is to run everything on the cheap and downsize the club into a "sustainable" package for his masters. Rudy has lucked into a role he's completely unfit for. They likely thought the fans were gullible enough to accept an ex-player in that role.... even one who went on strike. The infrastructure of the club operates without ambition and with no prospect of ever reaching anything resembling glory. We've witnessed that multiple times when the club was chasing promotion, only to be left hanging in January when reinforcements were badly needed. They want to keep the club running on the bare minimum, but can barely even manage that. It’s a business they're unwilling to grow, and too stubborn to let go.

The protest has happened and is continuing to happen. We had an average crowd of 25,000 when they arrived, how many people were *actually* in the ground last night? 5,000?

Any other club this would be leading to end game, the owners would know the jig us up. Here? Does anybody really think alarm bells are ringing? Or will it just be Suhail ordering more cut backs for next season and the next and the next until we are sharing facilities with Accrington Stanley.

One of the main drivers of the decay has decamped to India apparently and isn't even there to witness his handy work over the last few games.

Convenient eh.

Not been seen at the last few games.

Assume he's over there chucking other people under the bus. We know he'll be under absolutely no pressure from above, it'll never be his fault.

Not sure where to post this or if it's already been mentioned, but we appear to be finally stepping up the search for a CEO.

Blackburn to step up chief exec search

By Alan Nixon

Blackburn Rovers are to revive their search for a new chief executive.

The post has been left vacant for months after an initial round of short listing failed to find a suitable candidate.

The position was being reduced to little more than a stadium manager which put off many football figures.

However Rovers now realise they need an extra body behind the scenes with more adverse publicity recently over the postponement of a second game.

Blackburn have been running with a reduced management team since Steve Waggott moved out but now they will renew the chase for an extra pair of hands.

They've realised there's no one to throw under the bus for the next major fuck up !

Seriously it's funny how this has popped up again right at this moment in time, we all know they had zero intention of actually replacing Waggot.

The very best thing they should do is get a proper one in and boot Suhail and Gestede.

Which is the very reason they won't get one.

Wow

Read that as:

“Madam, without a Steve they are shouting our name. We need a Steve. We need a Steve to blame. We need a Steve to make accountable. Without a Steve, they blame me. Without a Steve, they blame you.
Madam, we need Steve”

Waggott must be howling. That bloke took hundreds of thousands from these mugs and all he had to do was bat it all off. Whoever we get will either be a short lived disaster or a bloke on wind down looking for a last pay day. This lot are filth
