Lesley Fielding are you referring to?

Well a quick online search suggests she went to Witton Park school from 1979-1984. Likely means she was born in 1968 or thereabouts. Making her 56-57 at a rough guess.

So she might be retiring but if she is I'd say she's either very fortunate or has been on a very good number at Brockhall.

yes, I miss read something hence why I deleted my post

I think those of us with common sense can see what is going on down there. Patterns emerge of popular long-standing staff members leaving in their droves. That doesn't happen at stable and well run organisations.

Yet she has remained here since the takeover. Its seem her role has been advertise by the club so it will be interesting to see what actually has happened or is happening or just a false rumour

Pure guesswork i'd say she perhaps fancied a change or retirement and they have agreed whilst there is a bit of money coming in because they think they'll replace her with an up and coming - cheaper - new person.

That's how it seems to work down there.

how is the role cheaper please? The salary isn't mentioned in the Job Advert but the salary even on minimum wage will be around 24k a year

He's a fantastic advocate for Rovers. I wonder if Venkys will ever hear his words? They should be ashamed.

Even if they hear they won’t listen.

They aren't going to pay a younger less experienced person the same as an expert who has been doing it for 30 years it stands to reason.

All depends who they recruit for that role but i'm saying they seem to run the backroom staff similar to how they run the team and if there is a chance of saving a few quid they will do.

Isn't she Frank Fielding's mum?

Didn't someone from WATR say that Venky's quite literally told them they don't need or want to hear what the fans think?

There's a famous saying in Jamaican culture that translates as:

"He who does not listen, must feel".

No matter what their yes men try to portray over here, it's obvious they are starting to "feel" over in India.

And still the silence from our Owners is deafening:

No communication,no expectations or targets set, zero to little financial backing. The sell to survive model now of full effect, that's our future for this once proud Club Folks.

We all know what's coming..just rinse and repeat.

Surely they can utilise the AI apps they are obviously now using for comms to do a ‘Message from the Owners’, they must still have a template of their egg letter headed paper to drop it on to…

IDEA 💡 - and maybe something @glen9mullan and the coalition can look into further in dialogue with the club?

Can we crowd fund our own “Tifo” or Flag as they’re otherwise known.

What is a Tifo?

The idea being to show & display that the fans remaining are the heart of the club and we aren’t going anywhere. Protests in the ground are absolute futile, so let’s spread love not hate for the white & blue 💙

I'm wholly opposed to tifos.

Care to explain why?

I’m opposed to the word “Tifo” as it’s essentially just a flag but I do believe they galvanise the fans, look great on TV and help to create a positive atmosphere in the stadium.

The idea for this particular cause being to show solidarity & strength and not willing to back down against the poor ownership and running of the club.

I don't think protests inside/outside the ground are futile.

Wednesday fans have shown this season, you can make clear your backing for the team and your disgust for the ownership. The yellow card protest, turning their backs in the 10th minute etc - yes, the club can try to dismiss it as just a few angry supporters but it keeps the pressure on them.

We all saw how uncomfortable the Pasha Out banner made them and they felt need to finally come out of the shadows.

One clear message, change the format of protest each time: Venky's time to go. Support the team, not the regime.

We don’t have the same numbers or enthusiasm as Wednesday but if you’re willing to get something off the ground feel free. I’m just basing this on my own experience - there is little to no real support for a “protest” in the ground. If there was it would have happened already.

Also they came out of the shadows in response to Glen’s work calling them out in the media. The “Pasha Out” banner was great but it came after this and was ultimately futile as the parasite is still there.

“Support the team not the regime” would be a great message to have on a Tifo or Flag though. I just think the overall message needs to change from hating Venkys/Pasha to the fans being 100% committed to still supporting the club regardless of the chaos behind the scenes.

I think they look awful and are wholly a European / South American thing.

Agree with that. Good suggestion.

Genuine question...

If the protests / banners / letters / video messages actually worked and the Venky's walked - what's the plan to cover the annual £20-£30m loss?  Genuine question, is there an actual plan?  Do the Supporter Groups have an alternative owner lined up, or is it just a case of accepting whatever?
