When you put the phone number into google it’s definitely his number, but not sure how he’s linked the number to that twitter account.

There are different ways of looking at it. What I would say is, people need to be careful with what they say online today. Playing guess who with names probably isn’t the best idea as I suspect the club’s legal team are on overtime. 

 

… then again, I’m not from a legal background myself.

I felt absolutely zero sympathy, more disgusted at the negotiation abilities if legit and lack of professionalism.

If the calls are real, I can't fathom how they would draw any sympathy. The morality and legality of exposing these calls to the public domain is questionable, but it definitely shows what a clown show the club is. If that is actually Gestede 'negotiating' over Pears, he wouldn't get past the first round on The Apprentice, more embarrassment under Venkys.

But you can tell with him how he is just from various interviews he's way out of his depth although the exact same can be said for the fella above him.

The football industry and a lot within it isn't noted for high IQ levels anyway that's why grifters, chancers and dodgy people so easily get a foot through the door.

Here though under this lot has always been a naive basket case that's never gone away because it comes from the very top.

There will always be people, who appear in moments like this. They can't be managed. The rest of us just need to hold our nerve and not give it any oxygen.

Tbf I think RoverDom was suggesting the calls would draw sympathy because they've been released publicly when the calls would have been considered private at the time - as opposed to the actual (largely banal) content.

Yeah I probably didn't explain very well. 

Like the first call released was someone enquiring about a player and pasha directing him to the director of football. Another was pasha just giving out a phone number. There's no ammo there for us who oppose the venkys and board but potentially an avenue to gain sympathy from certain sections of the fan base "oh look at the coalition  resorting to childish / illegal tactics" 

If the calls had eventually led to pasha haggling an insane agents fee on a purchase / sale then it's a different ball game.
