StHelensRover Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Only just noticed today, that outside the JW there are four flags: Rovers Lancashire 150th Anniversary And one other, it seems to be a Venkys flag? It's white with a blue chicken on it and says "VH Group". How long has it been there? Should be at half mast for what they're doing to the club. 1 Quote

OnionBalaji Posted Sunday at 07:26 Posted Sunday at 07:26 If they don’t cancel 9th Feb - please can the below list be read out to them and get their reaction on the never ending list of disaster that they have created. how do you explain: - taking a team within the playoff places to the relegation zone in record time? - hanging on to a manager with the worst record in recent history - missing the anniversary year for the anniversary kit game - botching said kit and then trying to charge £200 for the shirt - botching the chance to be the first Adidas SPZL kit which would have generated revenue far beyond previous kits and sales significantly beyond a 25 mile radius of Ewood - our commercial departments best effort being a local firm of ambulance chasers to be our main sponsor, are we going to be more ambitious? - keeping Rudy safe in his job despite 2 awful windows and the destruction of a competent team? - keeping Rudy safe in his job despite insulting and bullying many long standing staff out of their jobs? - cancelling Sky Sports at a professional football club - introducing parking charges making a visit to the club shop have an arbitrary needless cost attached? - as many abandoned games as home wins - fans urging boycotts because of the regime - what are the financials for the club shop products apart from kit sales? The other products are pure tat! - why do so many of our signings seem to share the same agency? - senior staff of the club running secret ITK accounts - senior staff using said accounts to call fans spice heads and drug addicts - being sued by your current kit manufacturer? (Obviously can’t talk about this) we have gone from contenders for promotion to odds on for relegation rapidly, this falls squarely at Rudys recruitment, has he been drawing on all his experience in other roles - oh he hasn’t had any - why did you hire a work experience former player who downed tools to get a move away in such an important and pivotal position in the club? - why did we offer Val 3.5 years when all at the time could see this was a ridiculous decision and should have had at least a break clause in the summer 8 1 Quote

Tomphil2 Posted Sunday at 12:02 Posted Sunday at 12:02 That's another massive potential loss of income in league 1 as not many will be pitching up with thousands of fans and dozens of coaches to fleece. Quote

JHRover Posted Monday at 11:07 Posted Monday at 11:07 Interesting stat on Kieran McKenna's twitter page - this weekend's average attendance in the Championship was 22,120. 40 years ago it was 5,984. So average crowds in the second tier have quadrupled since the 1980s Bad news for those who for some unknown reason want to insist that Rovers are just returning to the old days/natural level etc. 7 2 Quote

Mattyblue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The group meets bi-monthly with senior managers at the club - such as the Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Operations, Head of Commercial and the Supporter Liaison Officer https://www.rovers.co.uk/fans/fans-forum/ So that’s six meetings a year then… there were *three* in 2025. ‘We are always open to dialogue with our fantastic supporters’ yada yada yada. 2 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tea and biscuits Shame about Vi wasn't it? We've had 368 applications for the job. We did our best but January's always a really difficult window. We can't do anything about the pitch until the end of the season. Aren't those horrible kit suppliers being nasty sueing us? As if we'd do anything wrong. We can't talk about it obviously. Is that all? Great. See you in a few months! Toodlepip. 1 Quote
JHRover Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago Wonder if the Chief Executive will be attending the next meeting? Doubt it!!! What is it now, 9 months since Waggott packed his bags? How's the 'notice period' going? Sums this lot up - if they can get away without doing something they will - if they can save on a wage by divvying up Waggott's job elsewhere they will - all about saving themselves cost and effort, not helping the club. 2 Quote
