If he should have been sacked weeks ago then why wasn't he?

Because our backroom management are shit, and the people signing the cheques, don’t give two shits, and/or just want to cut their expenditure.

All very different to some weird fascination with the backroom / owners loving what the manager was getting out of us because “dumbing down”, and would never sack him of course.

I keep letting you get away with this selective stupidity to avoid embarrassing you.

I've had enough. Lets nip it in your little bud.

When Eustace left you got all hissy and upset when i suggested he left simply for an extra 15k a week. It really upset you for some really weird reason.

He left in February. Three months before the end of last season. Who in their right mind would predict results for the following season????

Certainly not me. So either put up or shut up. Show me these posts you keep referencing in my name.

And when you can't, have the courtesy to apologise.

Why you constantly insist on being the class clown i have absolutely no idea.

Obviously he left because it's an absolute shit show here and he felt Derby were a Club with ambition. And results this season are completely bearing that out.

Nothing whatsoever to do with the alleged extra £15k p.w. you've always been seemingly obsessed about.

Being proved completely wrong and turning abusive.

Well done. I wasn't rude with you.

My wish certainly isn't Mowbray but it's a more logical choice than Duff to anyone who actually stops and thinks about it for 3 seconds.

The only reason folk are thinking Mowbray is a good choice is he got us promoted from the lower division. Ie already planning for relegation.

I'm trying to be a bit more proactive.

If as you've said you don't want Mowbray, or anyone formerly connected to the club, and having had more than 3 seconds to think it through, lets hear your suggestion.

I'm sure its going to be errmmm biblical.

Ah, so you are not going to show me the posts? Thought not.

Rude? You are the one making up stupid comments i never said.

I've let it slide, but you are boring me now, you are not a kid so behave yourself.

I think you'd be more suited to the Beano than the bible son.

Predictable.

Take as long as you need.

I've already covered it several times over even before he was potted but seeing as you only grace us with your special brand of arrogance occasionally i'll repeat it.

Look no further than Gary Rowett.

I also said Duff would be fine as a punt if we were ambling along safely going nowhere or it was summer.

If it's consistent with the last 15 years it probably will be duff...and I don't mean Damien. When did he suddenly become volatile?

Timing of the sacking on transfer deadline day is just weird.

It is as though the Raos now have so little time to be bothered with Rovers that they have been relying on monthly bs reports from Pasha - injuries, refs, unusual monsoon weather, underlying financial plan working, blah blah - but suddenly noticed match day receipts falling off a cliff and the league table in the January month end report and panicked.

Pasha gets a carpeting and Ishmael gets the chop.

This could be opportunity knocks for Damien Johnson and not a case of a planned replacement

Obviously in isolation (overall its not the important thing) its fantastic to see a terrible manager leave.

Mind you, I am not convinced it was purely the clubs decision. Hence mutual termination. Even someone who seemed so "aligned" presumably has had enough of the shit players thrown his way.

Under no circumstances should we give it to Johnson until the end of the season, even if he wins a game or 2.

Why should we not give it to DJ if he strings some results together.

Had JDT been suitably backed we would have had Premier League Footy by now.  So, what the hell difference does it make how good of a manager we get.  The best and brightest don not get backed and leave with us looking good for playoffs.  Venkies gotta go all there is to it unless that happens we are on a merry go round, a slide more like.

Catching up, so not sure if this has already been mentioned… I was listening to the BBC Lancs Nixon interview and, apparently, VI has not been happy with the quality of signings, and problems with Gestede have been brewing for a few weeks. The club is also unhappy that he has not been playing some of the new signings.

VI was a poor coach/manager, but - as we know - we are always going to have problems with this structure and the personnel (RG / SS) around it.
