Sign that fella for the name alone. That aside, the fact that its come to battling Oxford to sign players says it all.

The implosion when Travis gets sold and Forshaw returns as his replacement is going to be off the charts.

Remember the two club rule. Players only come to Ewood if there isn’t an alternative. If the mighty Oxford are in for him forget it.

It's the three club rule. Though I imagine it's done with 2 clubs on occasion.

Looking at the stats on whoscored, he was one of the top performers of the bottom 10 teams.

If we are going for players from belgium and netherlands, I wish we would go for Mohamed ihattaren. Was a huge talent a few years back. Decent season, and His club got relegated this summer.

He looks like he can put a tackle in, has good technique and can get around the pitch.

He looks like he fits with Val’s high tempo approach.

BRFCS YouTube transfer committee says sign him up!

One comment says "one of the best midfielders in Holland outside of playing for a top flight club"  He's also captain for his current side.
Theres no way he comes here to be backup. If it's a legit story then Travis or Tronstad will be leaving.

He is also contracted until 2028.

I just don't imagine us paying a fee that someone under that length of contract would command.

He's a better crosser than the lad we've just signed.

At a properly run club it wouldn't be an issue. There are plenty of minutes to go around and we ran Travis and Tronstad into the ground last season - both picked up significant injuries because they were overworked.

At Rovers we're expecting an Academy player to back up our starter, so yeah it's unlikely to happen.

Derby in for Travis now he obviously has the 'for sale' sign around his neck.

Travis probably wants out of the shit show after Eustace left

Firstly I don’t think we will pay any significant fee for any player this off season

but playing devils advocate here maybe funds are available for the sales of possibly Buckley / jrc / Dolan compensation / picks?

although history does suggest itl likely be someone we don’t want to lose ie tronstad/ travis

Prime ages massive experience id say ya would fetch at least 1mill each

Who is paying that for either? Both players who have struggled at Championship level so you are probably looking at League 1 clubs.

we have to be looking at the lad from peterborough,jade-jones,he`s absolutely lightning, despite his finishing needing work, look at the chaos josh king used to cause with his pace, this lad looks a similar player, his contract is up at peterborough so he`ll be free

Yep... It's just not happening unless there's some clause in his contract.

He won't be free, he will cost compensation due to his age.

Awful goals record in League One for a striker. Never hit double digits.

Would keep JRC and Buckley for extra bodies. No fee from their sale is being used for player buying.

No one is going to pay money for either so both will be here till their contracts run out.

As usual at this club better ones get let go or sold whilst the others are allowed to stay on the gravy train when it should be the other way around.

The likes of those two are the first ones who should be traded for younger fresher cheap potential or academy grads whilst the best players should be retained way before their contracts begin to tick down.

Shambles.
