Some might say we should speculate to accumulate.

I’d be one of them.

Its the only way.Β

Short term, not reinvesting is obviously financially beneficial. Beyond that immediate window though, it is more often than not more costly.

Latest rumour is JRC to Charlton for Β£1m.

Pretty good business to get Β£1m for him tbh.

I'd be amazed if we could get 1 mill out of Charlton for him.

If that was the offer, I imagine it'd be something like 250-500k guaranteed max, over 3 or 4 years, with the rest based on appearances, goals, promotion. With his injury record we probably wouldn't see much of that.

I’m all for getting players in but shopping at pound land is a joke. Another season going by showing zero ambition Mer. Give the fans abit of hope please πŸ˜‚

Jackson rams it down our throat with an exclusive transfer story πŸ˜‚

But a sub right back again from a Belgian relegated side.

Just done the most basic of research on him and the random Scottish club's manager said that they were literally the only team willing to take him (on an emergency 3 month loan) last season, nobody else was interested.

Sounds exciting!

He won't even have been there back end of the season as he was at St Mirren, not saying that makes him a better signing in any way like. Must have been a decent pedigree playing for Arsenal's youth but seems to have gone backwards. So as back up maybe decent enough, as a Brittain replacement absolutely notΒ

Does anybody have any idea how to surpass that bloody paywall on the LT πŸ˜‚Β

Go to Google.

Type '12ft Ladder'.

Click on the 12ft Ladder site and enter the URL of the Telegraph story.

Paywall bypassed.

The money from sales hasn't been taken out of the club and has paid the debt off,

How does that work?Β

If he has absolutely no contacts then he is hardly a journalist is he.

He is a reporter who regularly spits out articles riddled with spelling errors and unnecessary cliches.

I am unsure how you span it back to saying how wonderful "Nicko" is.

Just reported Rovers set to sign someone tomorrowΒ

The actual story in the LT paints a different picture. St Mirren manager very complimentary about him and saying he changed their dynamic cos he played like an actual winger. Other Championship clubs in for him but he wants to come to Rovers.

As of March β€˜24 we had potential registration cost liabilities (linked to player/club performance) of Β£5.9 million.

I think this is an indication of just how much add ons our β€˜headline’ fees actually include.

If this guy is back up for Brittain then fair enough but if it a replacement then another downgrade (iv not seen any of this guy but I doubt very much he will be better or as good as Brittain) another small wage signing.

Must be loaning Duru out again.Β

A centre back and first 11 attacking reinforcements desperately neededΒ

To be fair, Alebiosu looks like a decent back-up to Brittain (assuming we keep him), and 500k amortised/including add-ons is a good buy.

If we sell Brittain, suddenly I am a lot less happy...

cody drameh obviously not coming here,to expensive for us ffs so we make do with the belgian 2nd division again, another downgrading,as it looks like brittain is off and so are his contract talks

if we can get a million for jrc then thats a cracking bit of business,he`s not had a look in from either eustace or val and for us and him he needs to move on
