The ownership of this club is unpredictable. They have thrown money at players, they have been reluctant to spend. They have spoken in person to some managers, given the cold shoulder to others. They have changed their minds constantly on who should hold the power in Ewood. We have no idea what they think.

This is where alignment is crucial. If he starts sulking about losing players because of finance, he might as well go now.

If he understands the club's stance and agrees with it, then he's a chance of working with Gestede to try to build a squad under those parameters .
