“We had a call with an exciting player but we had no connection he was not engaging he wasn’t the one for us” yeah spare us the b*llsh*t Rudy

Posted

Not really sure what people were expecting them to say. No company will discuss how much we pay/offer players it’s just not a done thing

No evidence we low balled anyone, confirmed there’s a wage cap in place which is understandable in the current climate but I agree if players say they want a move then they are not committed so sell for a fee so not to risk losing on a free. I see nothing wrong with that at all! Is Travis worth let’s say 20 grand a week, 100% not.

Thought it was quite brave of Rudy to mention the bullying but we are non the wiser, is it true, is it a disgruntled former employee just out to cause trouble, maybe someone from the ‘non action group’ causing issues either way it doesn’t help the image for the club but people will continue to speculate.

Wasn’t a dreadful interview. Good insight into transfers and why sometimes they take time as some folk on here must play Football Manager where you can get transfer done in a day.

not bad but not great! Time to concentrate on the football itself

Oh god, here we go

They really do think we are stupid.

A completely transparent unsubtle propaganda piece that will appease a good chunk of the social media masses, but you don’t have to scratch very deep to see much of what the more observant fans were thinking was bang on the money.

Wage bill cut, wage structure problematic, all about “sustainability”.

Don’t think anyone is giving him ‘credit’ as such just actually didn’t expect him to mention the covering of arms topic. Did you really expect him to say “yes I tell people how to dress”

I repeat I really don’t know what people expect from these interviews 🤦🏻‍♂️

Toth winning his first competitive cap for Hungary tonight. From memory of what others have mentioned that should go a fair way towards him no longer taking up one of our ESC slots.

Then don't offer out questions from the fans.

If their agenda was to peddle their propaganda, I'd rather they just did that, rather than feign wanting to be open and honest.

Him playing for Hungary will make no difference for now given their current ranking.

Doesn’t matter though as, so long as he remains first choice, he’ll have enough points  (% of minutes played for us + quality of league we play in) to convert in January.

The fact the whole thing was staged so they couldn’t get challenged that’s the issue

they knew the backlash and took the easy way out

It’s staged every year do the fans on here expect any different 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rudy opened himself up at the end for questions at anytime so why not have someone who will properly challenge him try and arrange a meeting? Instead of just complaining about it on forums?

What are you defending here, exactly?

You say we shouldn't expect any different. No-one does. That doesn't excuse the farce of an interview from criticism. Just because it's what we expected to happen doesn't mean we should deem it acceptable.

Most other years certainly when Gregg and his team failed it was rovers media person who directed the interview and asked questions back and forth

this today was pre empted nonsense. Put a post up asking for questions to be put forward and unsurprisingly the pg questions asked answered and unchallenged

as for arranging a netting how could any random fan do that? Speak sense
