150th Anniversary kit/celebrations

Totally needless to release a 'one-off' special kit for the anniversary game. Why not just use this all season and make the most of it?

And in the end the whole thing botched by people who have no idea (I'm not sure what commercial experience the likes of Suhail and Sufi have but certainly not enough to be running a multi-million pound organisation).

You might have had people willing to pay £80+ for that white Maltese shirt for the occasion of Saturday. But are they really going to pay that much for a shirt released in January and never worn in a match?

They they would of sold far more being a proper anniversary home kits limited edition. Fans can wear it for the 150th season and store it away for memory.

I do wonder if Pasha himself has bought any of the shirts or for that matter how much he pays for his season ticket and tickets for away games.

On the contrary him and his acolytes take huge sums our of the club for very little return.

It's amazing though that for the Bradford game the Riverside was shut because it would have cost too much to open. Yet on Saturday the top tier of the Blackburn End was opened for what looked like a couple of hundred.

Lol, plenty in our Borough.  They've missed another opportunity to get young fans, the future of our club in.

I actually think that it looks slightly better lower down. The gold badge right next to the normal badge makes it look cluttered and even more of an afterthought than it already was imo.

Either way, absolute disgrace though that people are being invited to make the effort to have a transfer put on months after buying a shirt. The home shirt this year  should have had one badge only with some nice gold detailing around the normal badge to make it a unique one off design with gold lettering underneath commemorating the anniversary similar to the Centenary shirt.

As with the alleged additional  all white commemorative kit it comes over like they've messed it up deliberately  to piss people off and spoil the anniversary year even more than the results are doing.

Someone on here said it's being held back until after Christmas, presumably because we have a surplus of normal shirts to shift first.

No idea if that's true or not.

Leaving aside how shit and overpriced it is, I can't see us shifting many shirts for a commemorative season when it's almost over. 

Also, whether or not there was an initial meeting to set up the Club right at the end of 1874 we definitely weren't formed in 1876.

Allegedly, they're not releasing the 150th shirt until the new year as sales of the Rovers, Wolves and Plymouth kits haven't gone as well as expected.

A familiar theme over the last 15 years that, things not going well. Suhail Pasha getting nearly everything wrong on his watch yet with no accountability seems to be the Rao family way.
