Didn't realise until listening to BRFCS podcast recently that we haven't won in the city of Coventry (beat them at St Andrews) for 3 decades.

In the league yes that's correct, we do have one cup win though in Coventry back in 2017 when we were in league one.

Interesting quotes from Ismael on Carter and his injury worries. Despite his inability to ever stay fit, I always had Hayden down as big professional but reading between the lines VI’s words cast doubt on that (from his perspective at least).

He's a northern lad, isn't he?

Surely he can't live that far from the training ground.

Maybe the type of car he's driving? His diet / lifestyle?
Hard to read any specifics from VI's comments, there.

Gudjohnsen doesnt seem to be in the Iceland squad tonight and Kargbo wasnt in the Sierra Leone squad last night. So might be 2 down for the weekend.

Think Gudjohnsen was suspended, not sure about Kargbo.

Not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere, but Kargbo was also suspended, also an update on Baradji

"It's the same as last time, those who have played with the national team have played a lot but have no injuries. We had two players suspended (Kargbo and Gudjohnsen) so they came back earlier than normal which is good for us.

"A couple will be back today and tomorrow so everyone will be available for the final session on Friday.

"Some players have come back from an injury and got some minutes like Adam Forshaw, he played 45 minutes against Burnley which is good.

“It’s good to have him back, but he is focused on himself and trying to get that stability now to train with consistency to be able to help us on and off the pitch.

"Moussa Baradji is making progress as well. My expectation is he will be fit after the next international break. Hopefully, we will get the schedule right. It looks good at the minute, we assess week by week, and this is my expectation.

"If you believe in a player, you see the quality, it's a question of time. In the long run, everyone will enjoy him. The fans and the club will enjoy him but he needs time to come back, adapt to the Championship and compete.

"We will need everyone and it's our job to prepare him. For the others, we need to assess them still until the last minute."

Looks good? That he wont be fit until at best late November, but more likely well beyond that? Joke of a signing.

Ismael has sold Carter down the river in the press today too. Yes his injuries do make him a waste of time but to be questioning him in that manner, the "open and honest" gang will love him but its really poor man management to say that in public.

How about looking back at ourselves who have left us with only him as a right footed centre back.

I am not sure that self reflection is either encouraged or allowed

What does the away section hold ?

No way have we shifted 3k for down there.

One and half blocks never went on sale according to the ticket map.

I'd guess around 1500ish.

If we had sold 3k the social media handles would be bleating on for days about it.

They had gone off sale this morning for online sales which perhaps explains it.I

Tickets will be available online until 10am on Friday 17th Ocotber. There will be NO SALES ON THE DAY at Coventry. Supporters who still need to collect tickets should be aware that the Roverstore will be open until 4pm on Friday.

They brought 3k plus twice in two seasons for night games chasing a play off spot.

Last season they brought a handful under 1k because they weren't going very well.

That's all we need to say but i have noticed over the last few years there is almost a national obsession over Rovers fanbase from other Championship clubs.

It's very odd but then again IQ levels amongst social media football hordes leaves a hell of a lot to be desired.

Per head of population we had and still actually have stats that will stand up to most but point that out to the average Coventry or Derby fan in their cities with 2 or 3 times the catchment area and they can't quite grasp it.

And yet we are still more successful than them.

Suppose you have to take into account that many of them attending now were not there when they were shyte.

Exactly.

Their averages have jumped up TEN thousand in the last few seasons so where were they before ?

In fact when they were beginning their decline and the stadium was quite new they were averaging 15/16k.

Gobshites always come spilling out of the woodwork when these type of clubs start doing well and the first thing they do is throw stones at others.

The ones who've been there all along know better.

It's fine for Coventry because they haven't got a huge area full of big clubs. Villa, wolves thats about it. Try competing with Liverpool man utd man city Everton Burnley Preston etc

Coventry more incentive to win if Boro hold onto their lead. Callum Brittain gives away a sillly penalty and George Hirst misses. Then Kipre gives away a comical own goal.
