Cost £9M a year ago, so looks impressive if you don't pay too much attention to his performances 2 Quote
DutchRover Posted Saturday at 13:34 Posted Saturday at 13:34 (edited) It's a good Venkys link too because we were supposedly after him when he left Derby, as if we could have paid the 9m Brighton did. (Venkys as in Suhail and Gestede leaking to Nixon) Edited Saturday at 13:34 by DutchRover 2 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted Saturday at 13:41 Backroom Posted Saturday at 13:41 Looks like he's barely played for Big Club (who are 17th), so more likely Birmingham are more than happy for us to "break" this loan. Some good spin from Nixon to make it appear to be some kind of coup, when in reality it's a McLoughlin/TGH-type move of picking up an unwanted backup player from a mid-table club in the same division as us. Standard operating procedure for Gestede and crew. 3 Quote
pick32 Posted Saturday at 13:48 Posted Saturday at 13:48 Look on X Birmingham fans hate him, speak about him like we would Danny Murphy. Lazy player who doesn’t put himself about. 3 Quote

Although I'm sure Venkys won't put any cash in for Cashin. 2 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted Saturday at 14:32 Backroom Posted Saturday at 14:32 I was at the event when Mowbray said that about the ripped jeans and tattoos but he didn’t name the player. This latest link seems like it will happen purely based on him suddenly being under the same agency as the clique Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted Saturday at 14:50 Posted Saturday at 14:50 BHA FC covering most of his wages, no option to buy as fee deemed too high. Sounds about right, and if he's absolutely dogshit we'll still be under a moral obligation to play him. Im sure he'll be bang up for a relegation scrap. So much for our principled Head Coach not liking loans then. 9 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted Saturday at 14:51 Posted Saturday at 14:51 looks a fake account to me,picture is photoshopped badly and there is no way rovers would admit we can`t afford to buy him or pay his wages 3 Quote

Most of that was in League 1 His only full Championship season with Derby ended in relegation. then was part of a pre Eustace Derby side that were in the bottom 3 for the first half of last season before getting sold (and not playing) to Brighton Back in Championship this season, has seen him not play much for Birmingham I still prefer him to Gibson at Stoke, but that is a low bar indeed. If true, it surely confirms the back 3 and wing backs are here to stay for the rest of the year, as we will have 4 left footed centre backs. They will surely though have to bring in a win back on each side though in light of Hedges injury, and us not having Alebiosu or Litherland for several weeks? RevidgeBlue Posted Saturday at 15:15 Posted Saturday at 15:15 I find it odd we won't consider Tyjon for selection because he won't sign a professional contract, yet we're happy to bring in a loan signing from another Club who we have absolutely no intention of signing permanently. 4 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted Saturday at 15:15 Posted Saturday at 15:15 Bit of a meh signing if true, so it probably is. Is Cashin a better option at CB than anyone currently playing there for Rovers? Quote
Comfortably numb Posted Saturday at 15:16 Posted Saturday at 15:16 So that's Miller, McLoughlin, O'Riordan, Cashin, Pratt, Litherland, Atcheson, with Carter and Wharton to come back in the next few weeks. Considering the latter 2' s injury record seems we are playing safe ,( if true). Maybe it allows a couple of youngsters the chance to get a good loan deal away and really get some more valuable experience at decent clubs ? Quote
