Rovers negotiated this with the FA, as the broom cupboard where the fax machine is kept gets too cold over the weekend due to the heating being switched off at midday on a Friday, and it takes a while to warm up again once the switch is flicked at Monday 2.30pm after training. Oh, and it takes a while to get the fax machine out from behind the Henry vac, the Amway cleaning stuff that has been stuck in there since Shelfy left, and the piles of unanswered letters from disgruntled fans which Pasha can't read as he never bothered with any of that old fashioned and inconvenient school stuff as a kid. And, of course, the broom cupboard is locked, in case anyone seeks to tamper with the slightly dodgy switch on the fax, which was bought for £2.73 at a car boot sale in Longridge in 2012.

It doesn't really matter when the deadline is - Rovers management pledged to 'get their business done early' this January. And so it is. Deadline be damned, except for outgoing players and incoming wonga for the beshitted ones.

PASHA OUT!

UNRELIABLE TEA BOY OUT!

VENKYS OUT!

Is that the official club statement 😁

It is an official Old Codgerism. I would not be surprised, however, for the geniuses down at Ewood to cut and padte it in future comms with theirvdevoted, dedicated and discriminating fan base.

Yea we all know we are done for, the players know we are done for, the owners probably don’t know what our HomeKit looks like, only way is down.

thing is we are helpless to change any of it, so I’m done fretting about it , football is dead for this club until we get new owners

Someone remind me, is deadline day tonight at 11pm?

No, it's Monday at 7pm apparently.

Would be no excuse if Rovers still think its 11.00pm - and there's their excuse ('all agreed but couldn't complete on time').

Only just realised that the window is open until 7pm on Monday night.

Does anyone know what time any new signings would have to be made to be available for Tuesday?

Why would it matter they wont be playing ... it would be the same situation garbage that comes out of the club and the Vi ... 'they  were our no 1 target we have been looking at since last January but need time to  get up to speed and adapt to how we play ,or they are carrying a slight injury and we need to manage their playing time so will be a few weeks away from starting '... .......and thats only if by some remarkable miracle anybody is transferred in

The club is joke

You forgot to mention the hundreds of letters of support that a former manager, used to get weekly.

They must be taking up a large room somewhere.

This is by no means a comparison so don’t take it that way but what are Bristol c owners at too selling their best forward and best defender to play off rivals

owners truly baffle me - if you aren’t in it to get to the prem what is the point

Ask Tony Mowbray.

He wanted to sell Rothwell to Bournemouth, our immediate play off rivals at the time.

I can't see why they would want him tbh. Then again I can't see why we want him.

Makes more sense why they would want him, Wrexham are forward thinking and looking towards the future, so buying a few young players who can improve over a few years (especially seeing as they haven't yet got an academy) makes sense.  They may even be able to flip him for a quick profit in a year or so if they outgrow him

Rovers on the other hand are looking at this goal shy kid as the answer to their problems up front because they refuse to engage with the financial reality of being a Championship club.
