My God! You're right of course.

I mean Sammie only scored 29 League goals! Pathetic.

And Tronstad "sniffed out danger" so well that season, we only conceded 74!

How silly of me.

He's not the centre halves or the flap-handed keeper mate.

Glad you enjoyed your day out and Season's Greetings Parson.

Im afraid it's unlikely you'll be able to enjoy a Tronstad/Baradji partnership for very long as the Club seem unwilling to offer Tronstad a new contract, same as the players who left in summer.

All the best Rev for 2026.  If Tronstad does move, for whatever reason, at least we've got the rest of this season to enjoy watching both players.

No. He's the one who snuffs out the danger at source. Supposedly.

I'm fed up with the Tronstad debate. I think he's ordinary,  others don't. I freely acknowledge that Im in the minority on that so I dont see what's particularly controversial about the opinion, particularly as the stats tend to back me up more than not and there's never any interest in him from elsewhere. However people randomly bring it up out of the blue for the purposes of having a pop when I havent even mentioned him.

I wouldnt be upset if he signed a new deal. On the other hand Id rather see us play with midfielders that can seemingly do a bit of everything like Travis, Cantwell and Baradji  rather than ( imo) continue to be held back by such a limited and peripheral player.

I disagree with Revidge on Tronstad but amazingly can respect his opinion... Personally would like midfield 3 of Tron, Cantwell and Baradji especially if we stick with wingbacks and 3 cb.

I don't think we will even offer Tronstad a new deal (at least nothing realistic) and I have an awful feeling that we are being used to get Baradji fit and in the shop window for someone else to make a chunk of cash.

Tinfoil hat - hopefully but it just feels that way. Have any actual details of our "option to buy" been released/leaked? Can the player himself agreed to "a contract in principle" or is that also up in the air?

I have that sort of feeling as well, or at least if they get the chance they'll flip him for an instant profit.

One thing's for sure, he'll become Jay Jay Okocha overnight if he does leave.

Travis ‘can do a bit of everything’, since when?

Not remember those 30 yard screamers he scored under JDT?

He doesnt get a nosebleed in the opposition half either.

One for @RevidgeBlue - your BRFCS POTM is Sondre Tronstad

Thanks Herbie!

Hey.... I was thinking could you bring out a Tronstad T Shirt for me in the BRFCS shop.

I was thinking maybe a Crab wearing a Blackburn Rovers Football shirt with No 6 on the back staring wistfully at a sign saying "Do not cross the half way line"

"Do not collect £200" optional.

(Give me that one I take enough grief about him the rest of the year)

I still don't get how you can't see how good Tronstad actually is, totally and utter baffling

Good to see you're still respecting your own mantra of respecting other people's opinions......

Except when you disagree with them of course.

Just Rev being Rev, once he makes his mind up that’s that. Been a patten all the way back to John (‘St John’) Williams not being up to it.

Seems it's only me that's not allowed to rate a player. No-one constantly  kicked off at people that didnt rate Raya etc

He’s a standard Championship mediocrity, not on this planet can he ‘do a bit of everything’… he can’t pass a ball for a start.

Yet he sold for £4m and doubled his salary and Tronstad is still stuck here.

I just don't understand how you can't see how good Tronstad is.

I respect your opinion but totally disagree with it with utter disbelief

You didn’t rate St John though…

He did an OK job. I much preferred Tom Finn out of the two. And Terry Ibbotsson before him. And David Brown and Derek Keighley

To listen to most people talk you'd think he was putting the ball in the net at one end and keeping it out at the other though.
