You enjoyed demanding answers to your questions, shame you don't show the same curiosity to me when you don't answer mine, maybe think about that. I will answer your question, None of them, I explained previously what type of owner I wanted to buy the club, Mike Ashley doesn't fit that does he? A typically evasive answer. You were the one that mentioned Mike Ashley and went off on a tangent about his time at Newcastle. Obviously ideally we would want other owners, but I was wondering if you would take Ashley to get rid of Venkys or if you think Ashley is worse. Your questions to me usually arent about my opinions but whether I am attending a game or buying a shirt. 1 Quote

Neither!!! You again are very quick to moan about my response whilst ignoring my question like are you boycotting. You will post your opinions in the thread already so what's the point in asking about it. I mentioned Ashley time at Newcastle and Rangers, and posted links to back my points up. I dont want Mike Ashley has owner of our great club. We have Sport Direct running the club shop once and no thanks again. The club shop should be Rovers owned and Rovers products only Quote

Look at Wrexham owners or Birmingham City owners. Both interacted with fans. Birmingham owners went meeting fans and into the local area. Plus Birmingham City owners have invested in other sports teams in Birmingham. 5 hours ago, roversfan99 said: You didnt. You changed it into your own question and answered that. I don't have any interest in the food or buying a alcohol drink anymore, or live music or the music played pre match, doesn't interest me. I rather just watch the dinner time football game on whilst interacting with people I go with or sit near me and then watch Rovers play. Quote

So that you can understand the only thing you enjoy about Ewood is that brings your family together, which the club has no control over. What do you enjoy about going to Ewood that the club specifically controls? 1 Quote

After what I have been through with my missus over the 18 months with our illness and myself recently being ill badly, I enjoyed watching my team play each team cos we never know how long we actually have in life. Mattyblue Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 (edited) To be fair to him, for once he has answered the question (obviously in his usual politician-esque round the houses way). Like me, he’s there because ‘it’s what you do’. I sit with my dad and the lads I’ve sat with for many a year, couple of pints (elsewhere) pre, settle in to a two thirds to three quarters empty ground to watch a crap display of football from a bunch of plodders that happen to be wearing blue and white, then trudge up Livesey Branch until the next time. There’s bugger all left in the ‘match day experience’ in and of itself that would attract anybody. If it was any other leisure event you’d have long given it up, they are lucky that a connection to a football club lead otherwise rational people to waste their time and money in a sad and depressing environment where there is no drive, at all, from the regime to do the very basics of custodians - i.e to have the club and ergo said lads in blue and white be the very best it can be.
