I agree. I'm surprised anyone buys from them. Overpriced rubbish. -
Gyokeres! Now that's a proper footballer. How I wish we had him. He's not just a goal scorer. He oozes class.

Is Eastham as good as Pears who was MOM last time out for the first team?

Play the left footer on the left and the right footer on the right. Then, sometime during the game, switch them over. And, maybe later, switch them back again. So simple.

Totally disagree. Fergie would have this squad in the top two with Burnley. The players are good enough. The back room staff + JDT aren't. End of.......... -
I'm 79 years old, turning 80 this year. Blackburn Rovers have been the love of my life for the past 70 years. But lately I feel that the club doesn't love me any more. I'm a fan and the club doesn't love the fans. I feel rejected and no longer part of the union. There was a time back in the 70s when I would have taken a paint brush and pot of blue paint to help spruce up the ground free of charge. I haven't been to Ewood since before the Burnley away game but that has been for several reasons. I think a divorce is coming soon. I know there has been a partial separation so far. But it's not just Rovers. The stupid changing of the laws of the game, the pass, pass, pass and no dribble or no freedom to play inventive football has all contributed to the malaise. I'll probably go again to Ewood at some point but I'll be prepared to sit and watch paint dry. I hate our owners for what they've done and for what they continue to do.

Can someone tell me why, with billionaire owners, we cannot afford various players and why we automatically drop down the pecking order when other clubs are in for a player. If it's FFP surely other clubs are subject to the same rules. From the way people talk anyone would think we didn't have a pot to piss in.

Don't go, Jim. Please, for the sake of the club and us all on here, do not even think of going. -
Whilst we are talking about time, I think it should be taken out of the referee's hands and only stopped when there is a longer break in the game such as subs or injuries. Stopping it EVERY time it goes out of play is a no no. The other thing that annoys me is that if a team get a corner kick with 10 seconds to go before full time the ref allows it to be taken and waits to see the immediate outcome before blowing for time. As I understand it the laws of the game state that only a penalty kick can be taken after the final whistle. (And, if it is saved or hits the post, the game ends before it is belted in again)

I can't find a topic on F A Cup so I'll comment here. I've just watched the highlights of Liverpool v Wolves. That Wolves third goal is a good goal. There is no offside that I can see. I presume the player offside was the eventual goalscorer when the ball was crossed, but the replay shows he is behind the ball. Shocking VAR decision! -
Can't blame him for that. Not sure about the second.

Depends on if you know the person or not. I remember our encounter at Turf Moor after we had been relegated in 1999. Dunney was nearly taken out by a rash sliding tackle. Rovers fans were going apoplectic about it but I seem to remember that days later Dunney said that some of the Burnley players were his mates and it was all good fun.
