I think Rangers are going to lose it. Hope not.

Lager beers have to be served very cold. British beer needs to be cold but not too cold otherwise the taste is lost. Two different types of beer. American? I love Shipyard.

I remember Third Lanark, another interesting name.

I see "The Blue Brazil" got relegated out of the Scottish League proper for (I think) the first time in my lifetime. As a child I was always fascinated by the fixture Cowdenbeath v Stenhousemuir; strange names to me.

Wish I could see the team sheets. Great to watch. Thanks, Speeeeedie. -
If Forest get through it should be a cracking final. Well done Jordan Rhodes.

I think the whole thing, year on year, is just not my scene. However, I sat with my better half and watched the whole show up to halfway through the judges voting. Firstly, the three presenters are not a patch on most British presenters; no polish, no finesse. Secondly, Graham Norton is a pain in the proverbial. I've never liked him, never will. He often overspoke what us viewers were listening to. Thirdly, I thought this was a song contest and not a dance contest or a "who can perform best under the most flashing lights" contest. I feel sorry for those who become affected when lights are flashing. Fourthly, I thought Spain's entry was awful and Australia.........words fail me. Fifthly, when Iceland were about to give their 12 points we both shouted "Sweden!" Ditto with Cyprus........"Greece!". (Cyprus vote for Greece every year regardless of the quality) Finally, my favourite songs were Portugal, Poland, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Lithuania. I was most entertained by Moldova. I

Which seems to be taking months to happen. Still doom and gloom for me.

No wonder local councils are in a financial mess. My council employed some pratt to "sort things out". I think she was on nearly a thousand a day. Utterly ridiculous. And she made a reet mess. Local Authorities pre 1974 were run properly by a solicitor (Town Clerk), an engineer (Borough Surveyor), a doctor (Medical Officer) and an accountant (Borough Treasurer). The general public didn't get ripped off. P.S. Sorry to go off topic.

The Sweeney, Minder and New Tricks mainly. RIP Dennis.

My only criticism of Nyambe is his attack or lack of it. His defending is excellent. -
Your whole post made interesting reading, Glen but board members at Ewood are only employees. Most properly run football clubs have board members, i.e. directors who together own the club. Secondly the Venkys "culture" sounds to me they are very much in the same mindset as Vladimir Putin. God help us!

Well done Gillingham for allowing Fleetwood to stay up yesterday.

And when was the last time you saw Nyambe put over a cross? At least Lenihan did. Nyambe rarely goes forward after he's crossed the half way line and when he does he generally puts the ball back to Buckley or someone to cross it. -

My MOM was Billing. What a fantastic player! He is tall, has long legs, can run fast, can play intricate football, has a football brain, can score goals, can make goals............. Where the hell did they get him from? Lovely player! As for Rovers, we were outclassed. I'm not as incensed as I was after Posh and Potters, mind. I stayed to applaud the lads and their families. I even shouted, "Thank you, Tony" and meant it. What the hell lies in store for us now I haven't a clue. It will be an interesting summer. -
As the Americans would say................Figures.
