You must have seen Rovers a few times to make that prediction?

Rovers' mouth piece - the LT

No idea what a 'broadsheet argument' is or why it's relevant. He's talking out of his arse in a local paper. That's it. I've also no idea what 'criticised for not using statistics' means when he's quite clearly being criticised for using statistics... and specifically statistics that he's made up. Not offensive, just inaccurate. But, as you say, that wouldn't suit your argument. You, however, do seem offended by the imagined offense taken by people on here. See, we can do this dance all day, but it's all a bit tedious. Good day, sir! -
Bradley Daiquiri's. Nurse, my coat please...

I'm amazed you didn't spot the unintentional irony in those two sentences. You're just as guilty of the things you accuse others of. -
I always think of this fella when people go on about pace. Scored wherever he went. Slow as a three-legged dog.

Obvious? He's never mentioned it has he? Are you Trumping again? I look forward to the day when discussions can be had based on what is true, not what is imagined. At the moment it's all froth, little substance? As for the rest of your post you seem to be in general agreement with the 'frothers' - but what is life without something or someone to cathartically hate and moan about eh! -
He's by no means slow and he's as strong as an Ox. He doesn't need devastating pace where he plays anyway, he gets his goals because he's knows where to be in the box and because he's a quality finisher. Personally, I think he'd score goals in any league.

You're turning into Donald Trump. Flouting lies and half-truths and then taking umbrage (and the moral high ground) when someone disagrees. Nobody is 'frothing', just pointing out that the debate about attendances (started by ignorant comments from the club may I add) is not helped when the resident Pravda work-experience guy makes up figures and prattles on about 'regenerating' Duff and Shearer and offering 'free tickets' as the only options the club has left to attract the missing 5 or 6k (or 20k if you sail on the good ship SS Hack). I may have just frothed? It isn't a 'light-hearted' article anyway, it's dismissing serious concerns about the policy at Rovers of putting up prices and then MOANING that Season-Ticket sales and crowds in general aren't where they want them, instead of actually looking for the reasons and offering solutions. It also doesn't help that Sharpe states in the LT as fact (and parroting Waggott's ignorance) that slashing prices isn't the answer. In my experience of watching Rovers in the last 10-15 years slashing prices is always the answer. That discussion obviously has to be set at against the backdrop of Rovers financial commitments (how much can they realistically 'slash' off a ST and how many more fans would it tempt back) but it is a discussion worth having. The club at the moment are doing the square root of nowt to attract new or old fans as far as I can see, instead just wearily lamenting the blocks of empty seats and wondering why it can't be like 'Oxford' every week. At this rate they'll need to get their scientists regenerating fans. The average age in the JWU is approaching 100 and the rest of the ground 50. I'm being 'light-hearted' there but also making a serious point. It's something Rovers seriously need to look at. Obviously you're too 'tranquil' to care. -

You wouldn't?but it quite clearly is. -
Spurs nearly bought Grealish by all accounts. Dack is of a similar quality. Considering the cost of their new Stadium I presume £50m+ deals won't be happening on a regular basis in the near future. Maybe Dack and Grealish are the type of relative bargains they are looking for. If they do make a reasonable bid of £20m+ then it's hard to see how Rovers can refuse. He'll want to go, any player in the Championship would.

We can struggle at home when the onus is on us to attack. What might work in our favour is that we are underdogs for this game. We might try and press you high up the pitch if you like to pass it about at the back but with Bennett not in midfield (and probably at right-back) we lose a lot of 'legs'. We aren't the same team when he's not flying into tackles in midfield. Our worst two performances of the season have arguably been the last two when he's been at full-back. When we can impose ourselves physically on the oppo we are far better. Brentford tried to pass us of the park at Ewood but in the end we were relentless at getting in their faces and ended up winning 1-0. Sheff Utd on the other hand were far too strong for us physically and we got outplayed in our last home game. I'd imagine you will move the ball about better than us but whether it's enough for you to win remains to be seen. A lot will depend on how much of an impact Graham has. If we can get the ball to him and he brings the likes of Dack into the game we can cause teams problems. It's a bit one-dimensional at times but we don't really have any wingers so we are quite pragmatic as an attacking side. We can be good on the break though which probably explains why we've picked up more points away from home so far this season. Anyway, kick off time notwithstanding, it should be decent afternoon with a good atmosphere. Prediction 1-1.

Harsh on Nyambe and Williams.

The one earlier in the season was a calf problem. The one he picked up last week was a hamstring.

True. Mulgrew missed another couple of games the last time Mogga said he was back in training iirc.

No idea, I wasn't invited. B@st@rds.

That's still applicable in your 40's.
