  1. Sharpe mentioned in his live Q&A yesterday that he expects Mowbray to give an update on Mulgrew's hamstring at todays pre-match presser.
  2. When Mogga played it with success at Brentford last game of the relegation season it was more 5-2-3. With Dack around that will obviously have to change. Brentford is the only game I can think of it ever working for a full 90 minutes.
  3. Trouble is every time we play a back 3 we are mostly utter pap.
  4. Start fighting with the police like last time I'd imagine.
  5. Moan, moan, bloody moan. It's all you people do on here.
  6. You haven't though, you've accused people of 'moaning'.
  7. The imprisoning of Fracking protestors has been overruled in the Court of Appeal. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2018/oct/17/court-quashes-excessive-sentences-of-fracking-protesters "Since the trio’s convictions, it has emerged that the judge who oversaw their (original) trial has family links to the oil and gas industry. Judge Robert Altham’s father and sister run JC Altham and Sons. The company is believed to be part of the supply chain for energy giant Centrica, which has invested tens of millions of pounds in fracking" Utterly disgraceful, and corrupt.
  8. Thanks. Sharpe wasn't clear. Clubs can't expect to be compensated twice. They've got the £88m and were surely aware of the pitfalls.
  9. "It's (red button/ifollow) certainly a hot topic, and I'm yet to learn of any recompense for clubs from Sky Sports, other than the annual TV money they receive" That's what he said^. Have you got a link to the £1.2m extra. I can't find one.
  10. Good post, but Rich Sharpe has just said on his live Q&A that there is no extra recompense for the red-button from SKY. Where are you getting £1.2m from?
  11. @Herbie6590 has his name up in lights.
  12. Holt doesn't say that the information wasn't available to them, just that it wasn't up for debate. I'm guessing the letter in July must have made specific reference to the fact 3pm games during International breaks could be broadcast on ifollow. It doesn't even look like it was even mentioned at the Portugal shindig by the clubs or the EFL. “While Mr Holt accepts that EFL member clubs were written to at the beginning of July, the broadcasting exceptions during the international break were not made available for debate or agreed upon at the Summer Conference, and those exceptions were not highlighted in any form of detail in subsequent correspondence from the EFL"
  13. He's a natural goalscorer. They are rare, especially from the No.10 role. I'd be surprised if Prem clubs didn't come in for him.
  14. Possibly not WBA. "Although Albion have a healthy relationship with their former boss, and sent Rekeem Harper on loan to Blackburn last season, Rovers won’t listen to offers under £20million. That is likely to be too much for the Baggies, who remain in an overdraft following the summer window" https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2018/10/10/blackburn-rovers-chief-wants-to-keep-bradley-dack/

  16. Waggott said similar:- "It’s right across the board. I don’t want to get in to politics, but iFollow, Sky red button, all these other things that are available at the press of a button will impact, especially on midweek games. You have the blocked out hours but it will have an impact. It’s in discussion as to what the red button consists of within the Sky package. We get central distribution money from the Premier League so we do benefit, but Sky is such a huge income for everyone in football. It’s under debate" https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16977667.rovers-chief-executive-discusses-ewood-park-crowds/?ref=mac If the TV deal is for 6 years (?) there's nothing they can do.
  17. Leeds are better away than at home. P6 W3 D3 L0 It will be a tough game but as frosty says there should be nothing to fear. 1 win in 6 at home for us though suggests Leeds are favourites.
  18. Incredible. And these people are in charge of running football clubs.
  19. Do you mean the clubs weren't aware of the implications of what they were voting for?
  20. Why have Stanley done it then? For someone who claims to have half the forum on ignore (you haven't really) it's quite funny you should repeatedly chastise one person for ignoring you. You're such a Diva!
  21. I wonder if Mogga will roughly stick with the team that started against Bolton? I'm guessing Evans and/or Smallwood will return. With the continued absence of Nyambe will Mogga go 3 at the back with Bennett as a wing-back rather than a full-back? Best guess presuming everyone is fit: Raya Bennett Lenihan Mulgrew Williams Rodders Evans Reed Dack Rothwell Graham
