Looks like yet again we'll be scraping the barrel for mediocre loans then. Considering the position we're in, watching teams like Wigan, Blackpool and Preston get reasonable business done early whilst we will inevitably rush a bunch of average at best kids from PL clubs in on deadline day is just downright depressing.

When was the last time we scored a goal without a massive deflection? 😅 -

Backwards implies he offered anything to begin with... ~40 games at this level and not a single goal to show for it. At least Chris Brown offered something else to make up for his absence of goals! He clearly doesn't belong at this level so why persist? -
I twll you what, you think the game at Turf Moor was one-sided... they hadn't hit their stride properly and we were in good form going into that one. The Ewood game is going to be a massacre.

How many times this season have we managed to hold a team back if they have scored? This team has no fight and it shows. Literally ZERO points this season after going behind. -

Nothing to do with tbe squad for me. The football we play is regressive and doesn't work in this league. He is one dimensional and nearly half a season in still can't string more than half a passable game of football together. He said we'd see more consistency after the world cup and he was right - we've been consistently dreadful. -

Jesus please stop with the third nonsense, we're a relegation level team who fluked a few wins, and now it's catching up to us. We'll be in the bottom half within 3 to 4 league games and it's unlikely we'll get back out. -

Yep, we have no ability to get back into games and now we've lost our ability to hold teams out. If we keep JDT we will be in a relegation battle before we know it. -

We barely beat Boro when they were awful, and it certainly looks like our one-dimensional, hyper-negative football has been sussed out. Possibly one of those where we luck out, but a pasting and the pressure cranking up on JDT is more likely. In any case, I'll keep an eye on the score but I'm done spending money just to watch us make no effort to actually try to do anything. The whole JDT style of football that was promised is a complete myth - even Big Sam was more positive. -

To lose the threat going forward we'd have to have had one to begin with. -

Stop looking at the position and look at the number of losses, then look at how many of those losses where we conceded 3 or more, or had basically no shots. We are in even more false a position than last year, any owners with ambition would pot him and go for broke whilst we have a chance. -

Get JDT gone. Yeg another no show away from home where we make no effort to actually win the game. The fact we are where we are in the league is criminal and purely on luck rather than judgement. -

At least Chris Brown could bring others into the game. Hirst might genuinely be the most ineffective player at the club. -

You actually play the ball quickly rather than plodding around the back. -

The football we play is pure entertainment thievery. We create nothing and either grind out a fluke and sit on the lead or we get smacked about without a hope. It's amazing they even show us tbh. -
I thought it was more of a penalty than France's first. You ever tried to keep running when someone kicks one leg into the other?

Taking Di Maria off has cost them the game
-
At least the first was an actual trip... that's just a full on dive
-
So if they win today that's one defeat in 43? Bad team though apparently.
-
Stuff like this is why England won't win anything. Southgate is far too one-dimensional.
-
A Dutch side that people were raving about coming out of the group stage and a Croatia side that put out Brazil? I think both could beat France. Croatia in particular deserve a lot more praise.

All tournament you could see Messi wanted this badly, and despite their average squad you can see how every player buys into the cause. France should never have made it past England or Morocco so no surprise they haven't shown up. Not over yet though.

Good man, awful manager. Just an international Tony Mowbray - came in giving it all this about how he'd pick people on form and then in our hour of need throws on the likes of Mount and Sterling who have offered nothing this season for club or country. Most "big" nations make a change after failure - we're about to let him have a 4th. Wouldn't get anywhere near a top division side. My Scottish and Welsh friends will be loving this news.

Maybe I'm missing something as I'm unable to watch it and just popped in to check the score, but everyone seems to be incredible positive despite the fact from the outside it looks like we're offering nothing and fluked a goal? Anyone got a quick summary?
