  1. I agree, the front 3 were much more fluid last night, regularly inter changing positions. They played more inside than I can remember and this made them difficult to pick up and created the space outside for Douglas and Nyambe as you say. Holtby is key for me, he holds it all together in the centre of midfield and has a fantastic range of passing and vision. As was said last night, he resembles Tugay more with each passing game. Just a shame we weren't there to witness it and rub a bit of salt in afterwards in the pub!
  2. Yep, I'm another. The transformation in Brereton is unbelievable. He was either on drugs and has stopped or he wasn't and now he is. Well done to the lad, I'm delighted to have been proved wrong. Now that Gallagher......
  3. Suck that up Nobbers, brilliant. As poor as we may have been in recent years against them, we've never been anywhere near as shit as that!
  4. Agreed, but alternately from eyes front with a swivel: white, blue halves from the front view, then white, blue from the back. The corresponding halves front and back therefore appearing as quarters as the model is viewed from above in a 360 degree dimension and could therefore perhaps be construed as quarters. Rovers, blue and white halves, end of!
  5. We need to keep hold of Jake Garrett. Top, top young lad and should be soon in first team consideration, irrespective of his age, if he keeps his head and isn't affected by all the hype.
  6. I'm not normally a big advocate but perhaps 3 at the back would be appropriate against PNE then? I hope ToMo hasn't seen your 'shitting yourself' type post though, he's bad enough as it is in bigging up the opposition. Come on Rovers, rip North End a new anus!!
  7. Don't bother, just give him a business card from the local opticians.
  8. Poor performance really, just about got all we deserved. I've no idea what the ref's thinking at the death, @arbitro get your boots and whistle cleaned. Feck off Mercer, you haven't a clue! I bet the knob enders are quaking in their boots!
  9. Totally agree. I thought he'd stopped with that nonsense. They're little Luton and we are THE ROVERS, get out there and batter them!
  10. Injuries would soon diminish if the players were paid a relatively small salary plus a large performance based bonus as part of their package. Similar to car salespersons, small retainer but a healthy commission based on sales. As it is, there's little incentive because they're paid rain, hail, snow or blow.
  11. I thought you were having a few quid on a nailed on 3-2? Your winnings will more than cover it, assuming a tenner on and leave enough for a bottle of St. Emillion Grand Cru!
  12. For once Mercer, regarding score predictions, I'm inclined to agree with you. I'm also going to have a punt on the outcome! If we are to have true promotion aspirations, 3 points is a must here surely. Follow that up with 3 more on Tuesday night and we'll all be happy bunnies! COYB!
  13. Tuesday night it's North End v Rovers. Surely it's about time we gave them a bloody nose!
  14. That would be my starting line up but think perhaps Williams probably deserves to keep his place at the expense of one of the other two. I think we'll win convincingly.
  15. Thought you'd be referring to a happy place next and chomping on a sheep's penis.
  16. According to the LT, Dack is due to have a run out in a behind closed doors game this week. Great news and hopefully he won't suffer another set back.
  17. I know Gav, I was in Sofia too which was kinda my point, along with many others in Europe like yourself. Funnily enough the one with the longest lasting memory for different reasons, was Krakow, where we managed to fit in a full day trip to both Auswitz camps. That did leave true goose bumps but for different reasons. Great trips all Gav, probably never to be repeated and even if they were to be, would never be the same somehow. (Age being one thing!)
