  1. That simply can’t carry on. I have never known us concede so many, over such a sustained period.
  2. Just look at the quote from JDT about the project having changed and it becomes pretty clear the O’Brien farce has a lot more to it than meets the eye.
  3. Exactly, so someone had to make sure it didn’t proceed. They think we are stupid.
  4. It is quite astounding really, that he is prepared to lie about the smaller irrelevant things. let's face it, would there have been any further comment made by most fans, if he had said we have leased a new bus? What it has done, is expose him even further for what he is and if he is prepared to lie about things like this, then who knows what he is spinning about the real issues. He hid the news about the sale of the attempt to sell Brockhall and if it was for the pesky fans, being on the ball, who knows, what would have happened there. Despite GB facing the fans, I suspect last January's fiasco had his prints all over it, as it certainly bears all the hallmarks of either sheer incompetence at best, or even deliberate sabotage.
  5. First wife died due to Alcohol abuse. Horrible way to live her life and die. It’s an illness is addiction and very trying for the families of people who are addicts.
  6. Fair point. We did okay away there, so the same goes here.
  7. Let’s do this. They may be top of the league, but as we have seen many times before, that counts for nothing at kick off. As usual, the first goal will be crucial and I see us starting in the same way we have started recently, so just need to turn it into an early goal. COYB.
  8. So website down earlier in the week and now the phone lines are down. Nothing to see here perhaps!!!
  9. Go for it Glen. I know you won’t hold back, so even showing him the latest farce with the real cost of closing the Blackburn end, should provoke an interesting debate. Based on the two replies pasted on here, his estimate of the crowd dropped by 2,000 roughy in the space of 24 hours. No one at present knows what the saving was, but assuming a minimum drop off of 2,000 fans, it has surely cost money overall, not to mention the bad feeling it aroused.
  10. I read a very similar story from Ken Anderson, when he owned Bolton and that all came tumbling down in the end. I do not trust owners like this and I think Anderson did end up making a tidy sum in the end, for his involvement with them.
  11. Probably. I used it, as it is a part of the ground I knew, but that said, if the tickets are on sale or no return, Waggott will probably close it, based on the number we last took to Chelsea for a cup time.
  12. I wonder which ends they are closing and if the shed end looks okay empty on TV?
  13. So that contradicts his reply to the other one posted on here, by way of the numbers anticipated. In that reply, he stated, that a similar number to Walsall was expected. So in two days, his estimated attendance dropped by around 2,000 as he knows only too well that the closure ended up backfiring. I suspect in the end it cost around 2k - 3K on the crowd, some almost certainly backfired.
  14. I would say Broughton should get some credit for Suggurdson, as he is so far looking like a gem. Hopefully it works out with regards to your he apparent permanent deal we have as an option, but the worry is, where will that money comes me from. GB took the flak for O’Brien, but it is a lot more likely to have been sent mine else’s fault, but perhaps he is as too busy, working out cost saving exercises, to face the fans on it.
  15. Hopefully he will have his dig about the bizarre goings on at the club. Most CEO’s try to fill their stadium, ours empties it. There will be more in our new bus tonight than in the home end.
  16. I dread to think how many businesses have given up on the club since these owners arrived.
  17. I was there for most of those fixtures in the 70’s and 80’s and it is one of the big reasons, that I get so upset with the like of Waggott now. The supporters back then, so some very lean times and some very poor football, but stuck with the club, as we knew, everyone was pulling in the same direction. In some ways, as I pointed out yesterday, some of those fans, ensured that the club survived these times and as history now show us, went on to celebrate huge success. Todays incumbents, are not fit to lace their shoes.
  18. it is now working again. https://www.eticketing.co.uk/onerovers/EDP/Event/Index/1345?position=2
  19. The industry standard for website uptime is that your website “should” be up 99% of the time. Breaking that down as hours per year, that means that your site should be down less than 88 hours per year.

  21. Sadly, we have a few too many who just sit back and accept what he decides on and with either very little or even no resistance As we saw yesterday, there were people on here, willing to accept something as significant as the "home end" being closed and would be prepared to just buy a ticket and carry on regardless. It is a same we can't all see what damage Waggott is really doing and rise up as one against it and oust him, before the damage is beyond repair. Believe me, by the time he has finished, it will be.
