  1. I’m not reacting to some tittle-tattle. I know and trust the person(s) who have heard this and think it is highly likely to be true. If you heard something like this from someone you trust, would you not post it? I have not stayed 100% as the person who it came from hasn’t.
  2. There are other people who have posted on here today, who have been told about this. It isn’t 100% definite, but unlikely to have just been made up. So far as being told to play certain players, I would like to put it out there that the current manager, was not appointed based on his record in his last 2 gigs and was certainly not good enough in those jobs to warrant the length of contract he got. In my mind, it is therefore possible that he accepted that he would be told to play certain players and given what I was told about Forshaw, think this is more likely than him being chosen above all those other supposed applicants on his past achievements.
  3. I was told that from a very reliable source and do believe it.
  4. Exactly. Anyone, with the remotest humility about them, would now accept that he has got it wrong and return to the tried and tested formula. I can’t imagine for one minute, we will see any evidence of that though, either on Friday, or in the remaining games.
  5. I think most of us realise that now.
  6. Well my post about Forshaw was my opinion, which may be correct it may not. Obviously he isn’t being picked now, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t correct at the time and like your post on Caulker, there was an about turn. This with the wages, is not my opinion, it is an unconfirmed rumor, so if true it will come out, so let’s see.
  7. It’s come from a WhatsApp group and the person who posted it, is rarely wrong. You are correct about my post on Forshaw and accept I was wrong, but did not say 100% just like now, unless I am. Have you ever posted anything that turned out not to work out the way you thought?
  8. It isn’t 100% confirmed, but I’m pretty confident it is true. I agree about sticking to the facts though, so for now, will assume it isn’t true.
  9. Some rumors again, that the players have not been paid. If true, that plays straight into our hands for a protest on Friday.
  10. I’m going with a link between Gestede and Ismael. Jobs for the boys. Come on mate, here is a nice long contract for you. Don’t worry about your recent failings, it doesn’t matter here.
  11. It has to be one of the craziest decisions of this ownership and let’s face it, there have been plenty. I know we are unlikely to get an answer, but Waggott need to explain why was that 12 games with a big incentive, if achieved, not taken advantage of? Surely it was a one off opportunity, where a real top class appointment was on the cards, albeit a short term one.
  12. That makes about as much sense as the managers tactics.
  13. I think we have been watching football for a similar amount of time and like you, I can’t work out, what the hell this guy is trying to do. Sadly, the people who decided to appoint him, will stick with him, as the compensation is likely to affect them financially. There is no shape to the team, no passion, no fluidity and there also seems to be a lack of effort. I would imagine the players are as baffled by him as the fans and my only hope is, that somehow, he won’t last beyond this season, as it is terrifying to think how bad this will get, if he is allowed to bring in his own players and we start next season with him in charge.
  14. I am now at the point of wondering, if this appointment was on the basis of, let’s see if we can piss the fans even more. Snowball revenge at its best. Find an out of work manager, with the most abysmal record we can in his most recent roles, give him as long a contract as we can and if he can speak French, even better. Get him to write a letter to the fans introducing himself, then really shove it up them, by playing shit football, win no games, but keep him in situ, for as long as we can. That will show them. As a bonus, set the season ticket prices at at level that brings in just enough revenue to pay his compensation, when even we have to sack him, for his record, which will be the worst in the clubs history, by the time he is done.
  15. I agree, it was Gestede who strongly influenced this. Its done now and even though people are still saying it’s early days, it’s a disaster this now and the longer he remains, the worse this will get.
  16. I think Waggott is now using the Trust, in every sense of the word. He is referring to constructive meetings, in his spiel defending himself against the latest uprising. I think a statement needs to be made very quickly to explain why the trust are not backing the latest rebellion, or I fear the end. Not enough is being done to make life uncomfortable and the original intentions, are shot down now, when you look at what it was all about from the off.
  17. He was probably appointed to make the people running the club competent. He is the worst appointment we could have gone for. No shape, no direction, no effort, no blood sweat or tears. Pathetic.
  18. It’s hard to believe that question was asked. The skill set within the fan base in incredible and there are plenty, who would do a far better job than Waggott and they have Blue and White blood.
  19. Or put another way, around 10.00am in India.
  20. The thing to remember here, more than anything else is the number sold. The barometer, has to be this season. Other clubs sell a lot more than us, simple as that, so pricing at the level they have, possibly has little or no effect. With the numbers sold at Ewood this season, together with the shenanigans, these prices point to a further reduction. We won’t know if this is purely down to price or not, without using some sort of inventiveness and although I know it isn’t perfect, my suggestion in an earlier post, would at least test the water on that. From some of the responses, a similar scheme, at other clubs has proved to be successful, so why not give it a try? If as expected, there are less than 4,000 adult season tickets are sold, it should tell everyone, this there is something seriously wrong.
  21. It’s a shame the people at the top, don’t think the same about the club, players & manager, as people like Luke. They abuse the love and the fans loyalty to the club, in essence, with some of the decisions and statements. I attended a one to one meeting not that long ago and was shocked to hear what was said about one of the players, who has since been sold. Despite this thread being about the lack of quality of one of the players, I don’t think any of us, would abuse a player, but the decision makers, seem to think nothing of it. The statements made in the press about both JDT and Eustace beggar belief, so imagine what is said behind closed doors.
  22. Based on the figures, I think the revenue will be higher
