  1. Single points will not be enough for Eustace this season. He got away with it with us, last season, but only just, as we had enough points in the bag, when he arrived. Granted we got the unexpected wins at Leeds and Leicester, but unless you count the Stoke game as his, he never won a single home game. Derby 0 Rovers 0. but I hope, I am wrong and we attack them to death.
  2. The Allez les Bleu letter apparently written by the new manager, quelled it completely. Most taken in with it and now we have someone who wants to be here, instead of someone who doesn’t, we are a shoe in for the play offs.
  3. He might buy himself out, as he is minted.
  4. You are right, it was tight, but on for me
  5. Clean sheets in Burnley. Whatever next?
  6. Poor half. Why has the manager got the number 6 in Roman numerals on his coat?
  7. I agree 100% It is a huge game for a lot of different reasons. Get off to a good start with 3 points and any negativity, will at lease evaporate for a few days, but lose it and questions will start to be asked and doubt will creep in, even after just one game. COYB let's get a convincing win.
  8. Can I square that circle and ask what the 22nd of July has go to do with this mass debate? 🙂
  9. I suppose it is a good job that we don't all see things the same way, as it would make this site a touch tedious.
  10. Sounds like he filled the fans a load of bull, when he arrived too. Sad story and fair play to the fans for the rebellion.
  11. Well I suppose time will tell, but it’s Weasle words if he starts applying for the next available job and offers to resign in the summer. Sadly, I have seen all this before and although, I will gladly apologise if I’m wrong, he is just another in a string of propaganda stunts, saying what his paymasters want him to say, to pull the wool over the fans eyes, yet again. I haven’t forgotten the Tony Mowbray “This is Blackburn Rovers” to “ It isn’t 1995 any more”, or the Owen Coyle “ I have never heard of Kentaro” or the JE “ We are all in this together” whilst looking to move on at every opportunity. The only manager who seemed to give the overlords a bit of stick back and genuinely tell the fans about the tricks the club were up to, was JDT and they made sure he was whisked out of the door, the minute he called them out. “You will have to ask Steve and Pasha”. “I will go and pick him up myself, in our new bus”. They all do it and it sickens me that these people come in, spout the spiel and then shit on the fans, at the first opportunity. I sincerely hope I’m looking foolish, come the end of the season, or even at the end of next season, but this just feels like another rinse and repeat episode.
  12. De merit, it’s plural. Allez les bleus.
  13. I can obviously see through something you can’t.
  14. Some of it beggars belief. It might as well have started, Dear gullible fuckers.
  15. That’s pathetic to be honest, before a ball is kicked in anger, under his management. No way should he be spouting shit like that, until he has some wins under his belt. Whether he wrote it or not is irrelevant as his name has been put to it. Walk the walk, but do not talk the talk until you have. I was open minded about the appointment, but this stinks of taking the fans for mugs.
  16. Spot on and let's get this signed and ramp the pressure up.
  17. I think we all know that if he does well and for example takes us into the play offs and we don't go up, but then has us up there next year, by the end of January, then he will be looking to move and every job that comes available will be one, where he is mentioned as a possible candidate. Should he fail and have us near to the bottom of the league, then the fans will be calling for his head, but he will be safe, just like most other managers under this regime. I like the post made by the WBA fan and hope we have a gem on our hands, but as usual, it really doesn't matter one way or another, as we still have Pasha and his bosses, who will continue to cause their havoc, come what may.
  18. It is a bad trait that a couple of posters on here have, but fortunately, they are in the minority.
  19. Me neither, but for what it's worth my recruitment policy is try to choose someone who has been recommended for the role, by someone you know and trust. I have not yet sacked anyone, or had anyone leave on bad terms in over 30 years, of being in business.
