I think PNE (like us) will always have the history angle, players like reflected glory and will be willing to sign for them. I wouldn’t bet on them getting stuck in L1.

Even playing Devil’s Advocate, I can only offer a heavily caveated one: We have hugely increased the number of academy prospects playing in the team, and therefore creating valuable assets to sell.* *Because we are playing at a lower standard of football, where the likes of Gavin Gunning, Aaron Doran, Keith Treacy used to be loaned to. Now we play at that standard and they play for us instead of the minnows we used to send them to.
