And the Dingles get so mad one of them runs on the pitch and punches a police woman -
If we didn't get a bid of £10 to 15 million in the summer, we aren't getting one now with 6 months left on his contract. How much were the highest bids in the summer? £10 million? What was the point in turning that down in July. It was / is highly unlikely that the offers were going to increase in January as he comes to the end of his contract, so if they were prepared to accept that figure they would have dealt in the summer. JDT is sticking to his line and playing promotion down, but promotion is 100% the aim. Selling your main goal threat when you are sat so close to the top two with no necessity to sell would be criminal, and would inevitably lead to more fans walking away and thinking what's the point. If Venkys wouldn't let Rothwell go last year I really don't think they are going to let BB go. There's no circumstance unless the bid is £20mill+ (which is what we were supposedly looking for) I can see selling Brereton is a good idea unless it leads to promotion this year. There's no pressure from the player, who I actually believe wants to see what will happen this season.

I’d love it if we could do something really memorable for a local derby like crush them 5-0. Or even score a last minute, massively offside equaliser to break their hearts. Or blatantly dive to win a penalty to win the game. Or even for the last man to drag someone down on the half way line to prevent a certain defeat. Any of them will suffice. 😀 -
What he should be saying is "Brereton isn't for sale in January" Although if it was Waggot I'd be getting worried because there are more zero's at the end of £10million than £12 million.

Have to say I have a bad feeling. The way I currently see it is us just being camped in our half unable to get into their third of the pitch and losing possession. Hardly mustering a shot on target all game and being on the wrong end of 3 or 4 goals. -
No I don’t. When we win like yesterday then it shouldn’t be an issue. But when we put in a stinking away performance like at Coventry it should be the first question on everybody’s lips.

Tella was up top. Benson was wide right. -
Ok. So JDT IS wrong for not selecting Dack in those situations. Which is basically the point most of us are making. Our league position shows Dack shouldn’t be starting because the way JDT has us playing probably doesn’t suit Dack. And our league position is full credit to the manager. But the angst is coming from the fact when we need a goal he is getting ignored.

I’m just looking at the player ratings on the site, and if our two full backs were our best players I must have had a lot more to drink in the pub than I thought. In that second half, every time the left winger went at Brittain he got to the bye line and either won a corner or put a cross in. It was the centre halves and midfielders getting back in the centre and their good positioning that ended up nullifying that threat. Zaroury and Benson will go past those two for fun next week. It’s whether they can actually deliver a telling ball once they get to the bye line or cut inside. -
When you consider that we have lost every game we have gone behind in, and in only 1 game have we even scored a goal when we have gone behind, then yes I think he is wrong for refusing to use Dack properly in those situations. Losing every game we concede first in, and failing to score in 7 out of 8 of them, surely backs that up. Or do you think JDT has made the correct decisions in the second half of those games we have been trailing in? (Wigan, Coventry, Luton etc..)

And Jason Lowe -
I was just going to post the same thing. Unfortunately we tend to refuse to cross and pass it back and around. Any free kick in their half should be put into their box, especially with Ayala and Wharton on the pitch.
-
And also for the winner the two defenders who appealed for a throw, and when they didn’t get it they went to argue with the Lino and left Benson free on the touchline for the quick throw. Schoolboy stuff.
-
Other than that, Norwich and QPR drew which was a positive.
-
Every time I see Benson he’s roasting some left back.
-
Burnley like to get a lot of men forward and do look suspect on the break. But they are pretty tricky going forward.
-
The World Cup should help avoid that, but what happens at Burnley will leave a taste in the mouth for several weeks.
-
I've said this for a lot of the defeats. His belief in 'how we should play' is just stubborn. To give Hirst and Vale an half each and Dack just 10 minutes when we need a goal is barmy, but I honestly now believe it's a fear of being proved 'wrong' meaning he is sticking to the status quo. Birmingham played well against us but found themselves 2-0 down. Enter Deeney and Jutkiecz and a completely different plan B and we ended up on the ropes hanging on. We have so much belief in plan A that we don't seem to invest time developing a plan B. But the fact is when have gone a goal behind in the Championship apart from one game we haven't even scored, let alone equalise or salvage a point.

Not my experience. He was genuinely always supported by the rovers following. Naturally if he did something bad there were groans and noises of frustration, but that applies to most players. An odd person might shout out that he was shit, just like an odd person might should out that Pickering or Dolan is shit. But I don't think you'd say the crowd were on Picking or Dolan's back or unsupportive at matches. It was different in the pubs and on social media where he was getting constantly called out as being nowhere near good enough. But at the games I don't think he lacked support at all. -
Maybe. Although it's more BMW's and Vauxhall's now, compared to Ferrari's and Mini's.

Quarter finals on 9th and 10th and we return against Preston on the 10th. Anyone who was in a squad who got to the semi finals would miss the following weekend too.
-
Yeah sorry. I get you now. I misunderstood the ‘away ticket situation should have been the first phase’
-
No. See above.
-
Except that season ticket holder attends 23 games a season and pays BRFC to attend every one of those games. Wheres Cockney Bob attends 5 or 6 games and contributes nothing to Rovers as the cash goes to the away club.
