The NOBODY KNEW in the minutes referred to those at Ewood. Not other clubs. So when asked why we sold Wharton for below market value, Suhail replies with "Nobody knew Wharton would be a good player at youth level". Which is firstly pretty damning on the football people at Ewood, and secondly irrelevant to the question of selling for below market value. I would imagine the football people knew full well how talented he was months before he made that start at Blackpool, and probably don't appreciate being framed as being a bit incompetent here. When put on the spot, Suhail appears to be a bit of a car crash. That's a stupid answer. I suspect the he doesn't want to just say the truth, we needed cash in the business as quickly as possibly so we were desperate sellers.

He won't say anything, and let's be honest he's not some hero in this. Just interesting that they all leave "silenced" about criticising what they have walked away from, but here Suhail has been unprofessional enough to not return the courtesy.

Honestly. Do people read this and still think that JE left because he was greedy and it was the club secretary's fault that transfers weren't approved. Do you not think the players know what's going on, and the likes of Britain, Batth, Travis etc.. are thinking "fuck this". I've stated numerous times I heard from someone close to the club that the players have finally had enough of "the people running the club" after Eustace left, and it's not hard to understand why. You can also think back to Mike Cheston having to front up in meetings such as this on his own as we had no CEO, whilst Suhail was skulking around in the background. You wonder if Waggot's NDA was two-ways, and therefore they are breaching it by throwing him under the bus here.

If you think there’s a conspiracy going on, or if you think there is a conspiracy theory amongst the FF, just state what you think it is. I think a club official lost his rag and said a couple of things he shouldn’t and now he doesn’t want it to be made official in the public domain. That’s the only thing I can see you could be referring to, and generally all the FF members appear to be adamant that happened / was said.

True. Glenn said “To add, the flaw in the ff system is the original minutes go to the club for approval prior to being circulated to the FF attendees, with the intention they are on website within 48 hours of club approval.” Which implies the rest of the FF didn’t see them until the club had. It would be better framing the minutes amongst the FF before sending to the club, as I suspect people won’t want to speak up and change after the minutes have been sent.

The minutes didn’t reflect what was said. The minutes were amended. All the FF agreed these were accurate. The club refuse approve them. What is the conspiracy you are saying is being alleged? Do you believe every member of the FF is colluding and lying about what was said to make the club look bad? I’m not sure I understand what you think is happening here.

I agree in that you can see Miller is a direct replacement for Brittain and we just don’t know how good he will prove to be. If all deals were like this I’d be quite happy. Whereas McLaughlin has been playing at this level long enough for me to suspect he will be a downgrade on Batth. Dolan has yet hasn’t been replaced, and generally we don’t appear to have strengthened in any area.

I’m always of the opinion that you have to be fairly poor player-wise and lack tactical nouse to go down. It always surprises me how limited sides are, who are sat comfortably mid-table can appear sometimes. Therefore until I’ve seen how our lot gel I’m going into it with an open mind. The most likely result I feel is a defeat, but it wouldn’t be surprising if we were saying West Brom looked fairly poor after the game and we come away with a decent result. The obvious issue is right back. Montgomery looks a big risk and Alebiosu is a complete unknown.
