What if he had spent nearly 12 months unemployed and not been able to get a job. No. He didn’t like not being offered a new contract when he wanted one, and then a popular manager he had a bond with leaving due to the club refusing to show ambition with the current players or the squad in general. Probably doesn’t care one bit what Val said.
