  1. The summer recruitment was ok. January was piss poor. The season trajectory will probably back this up.
  2. Pears big problem isn’t necessarily shot stopping. He can pull off decent saves for sure. See the last minute against Stoke and the last minute on Boxing Day. It’s the other shit like dodgy punches, flapping at crosses, positioning and slicing balls into his own net. That’s something which won’t be shown on that chart
  3. You have to remember we had different personnel in the summer and now in the scouting side. From January, how can Forshaw, Woodrow, Sanderson, Dennis and Karbo look anything other than poor. You are right that the budget is zilch, but I’d rather they had brought in 3 loans of better quality than those 5.
  4. What a snake. He should have stuck with it and seen the job through. 🙄
  5. By bullied I presume he means physically intimidated (like that Preston game we lost from 2-0 up a few years ago). We weren’t. We just couldn’t tackle, close space and were second to every ball. That’s something which we haven’t struggled with so much earlier in the season do to the way we’ve been set up, so I just want to know why changing to 5 at the back would help.
  6. We weren’t bullied by Derby. Pears flapped at a cross and conceded, and then a couple of minutes later it was just shit defending. We’d only been playing 15 minutes and then he switched it. It wasn’t long enough for us to “bullied.” However on the back of that shit 16 minutes defending, he has ripped up the entire defensive structure which Eustace had built which had us in the top 6, and switched to a back 3. Since then we’ve had about 3 shots on target in 170 minutes. It’s knee-jerk and has reaped 0 points.
  7. Yep. It will be like last seasons “we’re closer to the top 6 than we are the bottom 3” around this time last year.
  8. God Dennis is shite. Been here nearly 6 weeks. How long will people play the ‘not fit’ card.
  9. It would have taken significant investment,
  10. More “significant investment” coming on.
  11. At least we’ve had ‘rubber snake day’ to remember the season by.
  12. What is annoying is Stoke are really shite, haven’t created anything, leave space at the back and only scored cos Hyam gifted them the ball. You watch it thinking you could still win this.
  13. Sanderson clearly didn’t watch Sheff Wednesday at home last year, firing that straight back at Pears and on target.
  14. I bet in November we never thought we would justifiably be watching Big Mak looking around thinking “I’m too good for this lot”
  15. lol. Where Forshaw running to there when Cantwell gives that foul away.
  16. Isnt that the keeper we were linked with in the summer but didn’t pursue because we would have had to spend some of the Wharton money. Got Toth instead.
  17. The point I think being that if Cantwell got sent off it would just be for petulance. It’s not worth the risk.
  18. Dolan, Evans and Bennett were probably playing games for Rovers at around their level - lower Championship. Lowe played them when he was clearly playing a level or two above what he should have been playing at.
  19. Forshaw still starting games shows what a car crash of a January window it was. The fact he's up against Baker in midfield just rubs it in. However call me a crazy fool, but I don't think we will lose this. May even nick it.
  20. Swag will just up and leave out of the blue into retirement bliss. Be it this summer or possibly next. His job is to keep doing what he is doing and try and avoid getting a hard time from the fans doing it. There’s no-one pushing for a long term plan at Ewood as the person who should be doing that knows he isn’t going to be around to implement it.
