Nonsense. What would Toth have done differently for the Wrexham and Ipswich equalisers? I fully agree Toth can save shit that Pears probably wouldn’t, and over the course of the season it makes a difference, but the lack of clean sheets in the last two games would have happened with those goals regardless of who was in the nets.

The last minute Wegerle goal against Newcastle in 1993 was another favourite FA cup game of mine. I thought it was earlier in the competition, but it was actually the 5th round. In all honesty we did play really well until he took Gudjohnsen, Ohashi and Morishita off. Then we got absolutely pummelled. And it happens almost every time we make subs in games.
