How many times have you sat in Suhail’s office and been fed scones? -

The likes of Suhail employ them. -
No chance in the Waggot role. No way he is going to face up to interviews, be named in articles and generally put his head above the parapet. It took him 10 years to attend a fans forum. He’ll be as much in control as he has been during Waggots reign, which may well be fully anyway.

No and there is no reason they can give to justify why they don’t join. All I can tell them to do is join. I reignited this thread on the back of the women’s team going. We now know WATR have now spent 5 years talking and talking and talking and talking to a guy who Venkys have just dismissed in 2 sentences.

What's the plan if they walked? Put ticket prices up. Introduce a match-day buying tax. Cut a number of long-serving staff. Get rid of things like the women's team. Make the first team squad made up of a a majority of youth players, loans and freebies. Cut any fan-friendly services which cost us money, like match day programmes and Radio Rovers. Sell half of Brockhall for land. Reduce travel expenditure like flying. Cut back on non-essential ground maintenance. After that, we will see how much of an annual loss we actually need to fund. Oh, hang on a minute...... -
https://www.roverstrust.com/news/statement-blackburn-rovers-women "We had been in dialogue with club executives about the future of our Women’s team as per our memorandum of understanding, but were only given 10 minutes notice prior to the announcement." We call upon the Board and Owners of Blackburn Rovers to think again and have serious discussions with ourselves as to how the Club (Men’s and Women’s teams) have a viable and competitive future.’ Honestly lads, I'm a WATR member but they clearly don't want to have the relationship with you that you want from them. You can call on them to have serious discussions time after time, but they won't. They see their minimal discussion with you as a box-ticking and appeasement exercise, to be shown as an example of engagement. This quote from the Rovers website statement on women's football reflects the whole approach of this regime to the club over the last few years. There surely comes a day when you have to draw a line. Join the coalition.

At least they have seen the obvious in Vale. Not good enough by a long way. -
I suspect Weimann’s new contract will be a reduced-wage token gesture.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

A reminder that, forgotten amongst the comedic failure to press send on McGuire, was another sign that Venkys had pulled the plug. -
Hope that they’ve offered Batth a proper contract and they’ve not tried to lowball him. Slightly worrying they’ve not announced him as signing on if they’ve offered a contract already.

Maybe they don't know what's going on behind the scenes. -

How do you know JDT had the final say, other than some other failures at Ewood told you this in an interview when they were probably trying to save their own neck. If you can find a quote from JDT I’ll admit I gladly admit I was wrong. Something you haven’t done on the 3000 minutes target quote from Rudy.
-
So we don't know that JDT signed off on Telalovic over La Liga man. And we certainly don't know (the main point) that JDT was happy with either.
-
The likes of Vale and Markanday will be 24 at the start of next season. To put that into context, Shearer was 24 when we started the 94/95 season. Jansen was 24 at when we got promoted and started the Worthy cup winning season. They aren't teenagers anymore. They should be almost at their peak now.
-
How do you know this, but more importantly, how do you know JDT was actually happy with either? I doubt JDT will have come out and said it, unlike Rudy actually saying on camera that the target for academy players is to get back to 3000 minutes in the first team.
-
JDT wanted another striker all summer. On deadline day they probably said "It's Telalovic or nothing". He could have said no, but when you are in the last 12 hours of the window there will be an element in desperation as to whether they are 'wanted' or not.

Tracking our (outbound) loan players 24/25
Hasta replied to BRFC4EVA's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Stanley fan at work said Batty looked decent when he played. Would love him back but knows it’s highly unlikely. -
Gestede actually said:- "The plan for our squad is to give as much (acadamy minutes) as we can. The year before was 2000 minutes for our academy players, almost 3000 minutes the year before, so now we want to go back to those numbers." That, as @roversfan99 says, implies that we do have an objective of getting back to 3000 minutes.
-
I’d rather Stockport, just for another local away game next season.
-
They’ll probably sell Pickering and promote Batty. And before someone says is he ready / good enough, they don’t give a shit. It cuts costs and hits their targets. As Rudy said, exciting times.
