  1. I keep getting that on the home page. Try a different browser. That worked for me.
  2. Yep. I think my two major recollections are him missing that first half chance and then in the second half when their lad ran that wide he was almost buying a pie in Leavers and yet still took the ball all the way into our box. edit - he did make a good back post headed clearance under pressure. Not saying he was worse than anyone else. Just thought he was as poor as the rest, Pears excluded.
  3. Maybe, but I’ve not seen anything to say Chrisene is any good going forward. He was very limited against Huddersfield and I was amazed he got MOTM yesterday on the ground.
  4. I’ve been critical of JDT for tactics and selections, and still am. However the incompetence running the club at Ewood, and the neglect from Venkys has gone on far longer than JDT and will continue to do so. All JDT is doing at the moment is making it obvious for all on the outside to see. Of course he is doing this for self-preservation of his reputation, but the last thing I want is someone to come in and say how good a job Broughton and Waggot are doing and how we should be thankful to the owners, whilst we continue to lose our best players and replace them with free’s, loans and the odd bargain basement buy. And make no mistake, after this that will be exactly what we get. Tough situation.
  5. I know we had just gone behind, but that second goal yesterday is a prime example of this. Moran and Tronstadt just both caught way too far forward.
  6. 3 at the back with Hedges / JRC as wingbacks would be the way to go. As you say, Siggurdsson and Dolan offer no/very little cover. I never thought I’d be desperate for Hedges to return!
  7. I want Broughton’s take on it. It will tell us if he is frustrated but doing his best for the club, or another yes man on the gravy train.
  8. Worryingly, we have no Mulgrews, Grahams, Bennett’s, Smallwoods or Del Boys like we had when we went down last time. If we did go down it would be champ loans covering the holes in the squad.
  9. Eh? In the summer he says he offered to leave for free and I believe him. He probably had eyes on moving back abroad. I don’t think he’ll make such an offer now as he’s moved his family over and is clearly pissed off with the club so I believe he now probably wants a ‘mutual agreement’ payoff. I feel the interview when he randomly talks about his family and then working really hard is him alluding to that, if not to us but to the club. I may be completely wrong.
  10. If you have it seen it just watch from 8.40 on the interview posted above your post. See what you think.
  11. On the Radio Lancs interview he talks about offering to leave for free in the summer. Then immediately says when they said they wanted him to stay he then moved all his family over here to the UK. To me that was him saying why he’s not prepared to walk away for nothing now.
  12. Last year GB took responsibility for the paperwork not going through on time. Be interesting what he says if the McGuire deal does fall through and it’s because of those above him. I can’t see him being keen to say ‘blame me’ again.
  13. He’s under contract. If he wants to work for another club at some point during that contract period he needs some agreement from Rovers. He can’t just resign tomorrow and rock up at another club next week. Same as a player can’t.
  14. I’m still not convinced like most that Tronstadt is better than Trav.
  15. It’ll be Fat Frank. He will be desperate enough to take anything and work under any conditions after Everton. The likes of Rowett wouldn’t risk this poisoned chalice.
  16. In which case we need Hedges back on the left as Soggy is a lability as a wing back on that side.
  17. Looks to me like what the early morning rumours said. We are currently unable to sign anyone permanently for a fee and commit to any permanent contracts.
  18. Just a reminder that Tommy here had Duncan McGuire in Manchester when we now know he was on the other side of the Atlantic.
  19. Has it been discounted that he read Andy Cole's biography on the flight over?
  20. JDT's mum has just started following Aberdeen on X 🫣
  21. I don’t think this is really the time to be debating the literary meaning of the word tenable. If you mean JDT would be well in his rights to just fuck off in disgust then absolutely.
