  1. You’ve spent 48 hours saying the same line. We could play Brereton. We could play Leonard. We don’t know if Brereton up top would actually try and carry more threat. We don’t know if Leonard might actually have enough movement to nick a goal. We do know that Gally is toothless, and carried no threat in both games, but we keep playing him regardless. How he survived the whole 90 minutes of Norwich and Birmingham when he is occupying the main forward point I’ll never know. I mean even Dolan might not be ideal there, but at some point in the last two games when it’s not working you’d try him As part of the wider picture I agree, GB’s January disaster has screwed us over a lot. But the players can keep performing substandard and keep their place regardless, especially Gallagher and Morton. The manager is complacent in that.
  2. To be fair it gave a nailed on penalty that was missed by the ref and disallowed an offside goal that was offside. The handball call is questionable but if the rules state that any contact by the scorer on their hand or arm is handball then its the rules at fault and not VAR.
  3. JDT says he’s still out. Otherwise he would be.
  4. Kaminsky JRC / Carter/ Hyam / Pickering Hedges / Wharton / Travis / Dolan Szmodics Brereton
  5. For the mess of the Window nope, just Greg. Top 6 again and he couldn’t get 1 player through the door to help the squad. He talks a good game but has been found lacking in 2 transfer windows.
  6. Hadn’t realised Sunderland were just 1 win in 9 since Feb. Good old Tony.
  7. Preston did, and winning again moved them to within 2 points of us. Rovers to lose tomorrow and still be in the top 6 at the end of the day is 49/1
  8. Lose and we could be 9th come Monday evening. The 3 below us all have seriously winnable fixtures.
  9. His biggest problem is his inability to read what is happening on the pitch and change it to improve us, hence why we have only ever equalised from going behind once. Only 1 sub after 64 minutes yesterday when we hadn’t got close to a shot on target was frustrating, and even then it wasn’t the right change. Like with Dack earlier in the season, it almost feels like he knows people are clamouring for Wharton to start over Morton, and as he has chosen not to do this he doesn’t want to give AW time in case he’s proven wrong .
  10. Where have all the good men gone And where are all the gods? Where's the street-wise Hercules To fight the rising odds? Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed? Late at night I toss and I turn, I dream of what I need
  11. Hanley did his knee ligament. As far as ex-players go I quite like him and wish him all the best. Didn’t look good.
  12. As much as I don’t think JDT is the bees knees, I watched today thinking “if only Broughton had got O’Brien and a striker in the door in January”
  13. But you accept there is a viable option? We don't have to keep playing Gally.
  14. Maybe, maybe not. Personally I think Brereton would actually make better runs and get in the end of more than Gally does. But let's not pretend there is no other option and Gallagher has to start up top. Be brave, try something different.
  15. Yes. But even today where he was shit again he did one thing that Gally didn't. Get across his man and get a shot away. Gallagher is shit up top. Brereton has been shit on the left and we've got 3 wide players when we only use 1 of them. We could, of course, carry on doing the same formation with the same players and getting the same result.
  16. Brereton. The one shot on target we had was Brereton centrally coming across his man, cheating the ball down and getting a shot away. Something Gally just doesn't do . He plays there for Chile. Its fucking obvious to me.
  17. I say this every time I see them, but Millwall look very mediocre .
  18. Looking at the seat map, it looks like any last-minute walk ons will end up in the Riverside today
  19. Be the first time in a while since I’ve wanted Luton to win, but I’d rather that than a draw against Millwall today.
  20. Doesn’t seem to tire that badly. Isn’t Jason Lowe.
  21. Go back and read it again Chaddy cos you are heading down a blind alley. He said that he's not happy that his work (where he is employed) is making him work over Easter on a Christian holiday. He has not mentioned anything to do with EFL games being played over Easter, nor is he complaining about them being played over Easter. You have misunderstood his post and have thought he was saying games shouldn't be played on Good Friday / Easter Monday (or you have posted something completely irrelevant and quoted him!) When somebody has pointed this out that he is complaining about his work and not the EFL, he says "exactly".
  22. My current preference is:- West Ham / Everton / Leeds / Bournemouth / Forest / Southampton in that order.
  23. Again, it’s tit for tat as Blackpool reduced Preston’s allocation at Bloomfield for 2 years. I think Blackpool started this one.
  24. Spicy local derby. Big away following. Good chance anyone who really wants tickets will definitely get one. What's not to love. 😉
  25. I think it will get to open sale with being on Sky, but you never know. I do think though that the minute it hits open sale it will sell as there will be loads of groups wanting to go to this.
